  1. Sabrian,

We have been praying for my hubby to find a different job or be able to retire. It hasn’t happened yet. God in his infinite wisdom will make it so when His timing is right. He knows what lies ahead for us & the money we will need. We simply wait on Him. Years ago I went through a trial with my aging dad. It taught me to trust God completely no matter the situation.

    Blessings 🙂

  2. This came providentially in the perfect timing today! We just finished a Bible study on blooming where you are. God’s work and timing in our lives are not always easy to wait for, but we know He’s got beautiful and wonderful plans for each one of us!

    • I love how God confirms His word right on time! Waiting is never easy, but He truly knows how to meet us in the in-between.

  3. I’m always so blessed by these articles!

I would love the opportunity to translate *in(courage)* articles and books into Spanish. Could you please let me know whom I should contact about this?

  4. I love this! Thanks for sharing your story and your wisdom. I needed this reminder today… it really spoke to my heart.

    • I’m so glad it met you right where you needed it today! Grateful that God uses our stories to remind each other of His faithfulness.

  5. Ohhhh I love this reminder. I can be such a “bratty and spoiled” daughter of God.. especially… when I don’t get, hear or see, what I want, what I’ve asked God for, when I want it!!!
Luckily for me God has given me the gift and heart of a gardener. Yes I wait. Yes some seeds don’t make it. But those that do make my heart and spirit soar as they soar through the soil
Thank you Sabrian for such a beautiful Sat message xoxo \0/

    • This made me smile, Janet. I think we’ve all had those “bratty daughter” moments with God! And yet, He’s still so kind and patient with us.

  6. Powerful and Perfect Timing – God’s timing is always perfect. Thank you, Sabrian for this beautiful reading this morning – on this beautiful Florida type crisp Autumn morning.

  7. I so wish I was patient enough to wait for God’s promises for my son. He was 23 when the car accident left him quadriplegic. He’s 61 now and finds it ever so complicated to find a good daily assistant. He’s desperate and we are too. Hoping for God’s miracle to help him survive. Praise God for his promises and I thank him for the wisdom he will grant us with.

    • I am so very sorry for the situation your son is in and will pray and trust that God will bring just the right person to assist your son.

  8. the image alone spoke volumes. this was a gut punch and needed reminder. short, sweet, and to the point! the whole post was perfect! thank you for sharing.

  9. Beautiful reminder, Sabian! It made me think of the cherry (yes, cherry!) marigolds I planted in the spring. I thought they had all died off, but the cooler weather brought about another round of their cheerfulness in my flower bed. God knows what we need when we need it!

    Blessings to all!

  10. Thank you Sabrian. Patience is a “fruit of the spirit” that I have issues with. Especially praying for 7 years for a breakthrough! Sometimes I get tired of waiting, but God is sovereign. I pray that He will come through beyond my expectations!
