  1. In Bible study and daily devotional, this message keeps being reinforced: the transformational power of the gospel of Jesus Christ giving life and renewal as a seed planted in the ground brings forth new life, new fruit, with fresh new seeds. I needed this reminder in this season of summer heat. It takes time to bring forth new growth. It takes watering, and “He brings forth rain in due season.”

  3. This was a wonderful way to look at where God has brought us from and to keep our focus on God and how in spite of us. God loves us and sees us as beautiful.

  4. I love the comparison of us to a piece of antique furniture whose beauty needs to be restored and revealed by Jesus. The waiting can be difficult but so very worth it!

I’m thankful I’m in bed recovering from a virus. It lead me to read emails……. which lead me to go meditate on Romans 12:1-2 after reading this devotional.
