  1. Oh Robin, this is so good! On May 24th I awoke blind in my good eye. This began a wild season of questions & challenges to everyday life as we had known it. This has been a harder challenge for my husband than for me. l’ve been forced to be still & wait on the Lord & His timing & answers. Hubs has been forced to take on double duty & then some between a stressful job & now being a seeing eye person to his wife.”He is exhausted” is an understatement. BUT GOD is truly in the details & has provided all our needs. No idea what the long run will look like but we know in God’s economy it will be God’s best & for His glory even if it is not what we prefer.. Being able to share your post with my husband before he left for work this AM was a gift today, Robin. Blessings! (((0)))

    • Ruth…wow. I am so, so sorry that these are circumstances you’re having to endure, but your response is inspiring and points to God <3. I'm honored that you'd take the time to write when it is a challenge--what a gift! Thank you! I'm saying a prayer this morning for you and your husband, asking the Lord to meet you and bless you and give you the things that only He can. xoxo

    • I’m praying for you and your husband, Ruth. May God give you both the strength, support and healing that you need in this difficult season. I am also going through a season of having to rely on my husband to do things for me that I want to do for myself, while my right arm is incapacitated. We will get through this together. I am thankful for his loving care.

    • Ruth,

Sweet friend Prayers going up now. Father God please give strength & courage to Ruth & hubby. Guide them to the right doctors so they can find a cure. Send your love, peace, patience & healing touch to them. Help them glorify you through all this. AMEN

  2. I’m in the process of divorcing a severe alcoholic. Who has been chronically emotionally and verbally abusive.I have gone back and forth, waiting for him to take action to become accountable and work on himself but it doesn’t happen. I am struggling with keeping my faith strong, trying to trust in God, and just wanting things to get better and feel safe again. This devotional describes how I feel, just pounded on!

    • KT, I am so sorry for what you have endured. I have been there. God kept me safe through this, just has He has been keeping you safe. I learned so many hard, hard lessons, as you no doubt have too. But God has kept us alive and will continue to do so. His timing is perfect. I found the Armour of God was just perfect in this situation. I will be praying for you dear one. God loves you. Hugs and prayers ❤️
