We love You Lord, and we trust and surrender ourselves to You. Thank You.

  13. In reading the Word, I thought it applied to one thing or another to mold me to be like Christ. When in actuality simple obedience is all that God is asking us to receive His riches in Heaven. Please pray that my zeal for God is deepened to my soul and that I’m obedient out of love for Him! Whomever answers, how can I pray for you?

    Blessings,

    Shantell

May they come to know You personally as their Savior and be forever changed by Your grace and mercy.

Lord, I also lift up Karen, asking that she would find the strength to fully surrender her heart and life to You. Help her to release any areas of worry, control, or fear, and replace them with a steadfast trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. Guide her steps as she grows deeper in her walk with You, and let her be a light to her family, pointing them toward Your love.

I pray for Your Spirit to move powerfully in this family, drawing them close to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

  18. Everyone no matter what religion they believe in need prayer at some time in their lives. We have a mighty God those that are saved the God that made the Heavens and the earth. The one true God we can pray to. But we have to believe that God hears our prayers. Sometimes we get into a panic forget to go to God in prayer first. We ask this and this one to pray for us. Instead of taking our prayers to God’s first. We don’t surrender all to God first. Sometimes we don’t tell the people we have asked to pray for the full story of what wrong why we need them to pray for us. As if we done something wrong we don’t want them to know what it is fully. All you want them to pray for you is that you will not do it again. You are afraid they will judge you. Say how did you that or why did you do it. Then your afraid they will tell someone else. Guess what so so did they asked me to pray for them. You get all these things in your head. Behind it you know they will not tell anyone else the person you have asked to pray for you. But still you don’t tell them the whole story of what you did. They pray for you anyway. But if a sickness like cancer to do with you are someone close to you or your going to loose your job or have lost it. Because of the age you are you may find it hard to get another one. You don’t mind telling them about that your not well or someone close to you not well. What they serious or about you. Plus if you are going to loose your job or have lost it to pray for you. Then we after all that then decide to go to all in prayer and surrender all to him in prayer. But as the song says. That we all know so well. Do we just sing it for the sake of singing it. But don’t do as the words says. I believe in this song. If not going to do as the words says. Just sing it in your Church as it one of the songs that have been picked to sing for the sake of it. Don’t sing it at all unless your going to do as the words say in the song. It is “I Surrender All. All to Jesus my saviour I Surrender all.” Do we Surrender all to Jesus and not do as this song says. Just Surrender the bits we want to tell Jesus we need prayer for. We expect Jesus to answer the prayer we told him about the bits we have told him. How can Jesus answer it and tell us what to do when we not Surrendered all to him meaning told him all. I done that in the past. So if a song like that played in our Church. I leave that part out I Surrender all to thee my Saviour. As most times after singing a song like that meaning I have Surrendered all to Jesus my saviour. When there are things I do that I have not Surrendered to Jesus that I should not do again. So that is not Surrending all to Jesus. I have song the song not Surrendered all to Jesus. So I believe don’t sing the song and don’t do as the words say. As it very hard to Surrender all to Jesus. We have to as Christian’s learn to get to that point in our lives that we Surrender all to Jesus as the songs says. Only way we can do that as I have learnt is to pray to Jesus to ask him to help us Surrender all to him. That me our Families or Husband if married if have kids them. Our life or Jobs if still have one if not retired etc. It means our everything to Jesus in pray. I pray for everyone asking for prayer in this reading today. I say Lord you know all they are going through you know what is on their mind. Should it a sickness or sickness in the Family like cancer. Let them no matter what the prayer requests they need prayer for hand it over to you in prayer and stand on the promises in your word. Trusting you for what ever they need prayer for. Knowing you are close to them. Like this other song which is so true “Standing on the promises of God. The promises that can not fail and will not fail” So Lord be with them all let them know you are close to them. I say Amen to that. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little Enniskillen Co.Fermanagh N.Ireland xx

  20. My son and daughter in law have been separated for a couple of months now. They have 3 children. I do not understand what is going on entirely- my son is so discouraged and struggling to keep walking in faith. There seems to be very little movement toward any kind of resolution. It feels as if our whole family has been through an earthquake. Pray for wisdom and endurance for us all.

    • Heavenly Father,

I come to You on behalf of Cheryl and her family, lifting up her son, daughter-in-law, and their children in this season of heartache and uncertainty. Lord, I ask for Your peace to wash over them, calming the storms in their hearts and minds. I pray for clarity and wisdom as they navigate this painful time, and for Your guiding hand to bring resolution in a way that honors You.

Father, please strengthen Cheryl’s son. He is struggling to hold onto faith and needs Your presence and reassurance more than ever. Surround him with encouragement, lifting his heart and renewing his hope. Remind him that You are with him in every trial, and that You see his pain and care deeply.

Lord, I also lift up Cheryl, her family, and especially the children. I ask for endurance for each of them and for Your hand to hold them steady. Bring comfort and healing where there is hurt, and patience where there is frustration. Help them to lean into Your strength and trust Your timing, even when answers seem far away.

I pray that you receive the wisdom and endurance that you need so much at this time. For the children, I hope that things go gentle with them which I know Jesus will do, but it is difficult when children are involved. Cheryl, I do know how your son feels as least the way I think as I have gone through so many seasons in the past 2 years. I send love and prayer to you, Cheryl and your family and that this situation whatever it is can be resolved………………………..Betsy Basile

  24. I would like to ask prayer for my Mom, she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer a month ago and is undergoing a thyroidectomy tomorrow. It is a bit of a shock and quite a difficult time for us as a family, but we are trusting God in this.

  26. In Courage,

I live in upper E. TN near NC, VA borders. Hurricane Helene came through here & devastated many people. Many bridges are out in certain counties making it hard to get around. We are still trying to get back to normal. Pray for those needing help. Some people still don’t have power or water. Schools are finally back in session. Also prayers for those in NC. Helicopters are being used to get supplies to them. Some towns don’t have infrastructure. Highways over there are unusable.

My old town of Brandon, FL outside of Tampa got hit with hurricane Milton. They also had tornadoes. The east coast of FL and Upper TN is not used to storms like this. It will take a long time to clean up & get back to normal.

    Blessings 🙂

  37. I have two prayer requests that I can think of at the moment. One is for a cousin in my family who was killed a few days ago in a hit and run accident. I just want to ask for a sense of comfort around the family in this time of grief.
Also, I want to ask for a prayer request for myself. I have been having ongoing health issues for a few years and we might have finally found why I have been having those issues, Praise God. However, I won’t be able to go to the endocrinologist until February as that is the next available appointment. However, we are still trying to rule some stuff out until then, so I’m going for an MRI on my brain tomorrow. I ask that y’all pray for good results and that I feel a sense of calm over me as I go in for the test.
    Thanks.
Also I just want to pray for all the prayer requests before my comment and after my comment. I know that God knows each and every one of your needs whether it be for healing, relief, comfort, guidance, wisdom, etc. so, I pray that God meets all your needs and that you can feel His presence surrounding with each day.
    Amen.

    • Courtney – lifting you up as you go for this MRI tomorrow. I have been through many and understand the challenges you face.
Lord Jesus, surround Courtney with peace, Your presence, as she goes through this imaging and then waits for results. Please guard her life and bring encouragement from the outcome. Give doctors and Courtney wisdom in decisions, Your divine intervention in healing, strength in her faith that can be a light to others watching her and joy despite the circumstances. Please open up an appointment sooner than February for her to see the specialist. Cover her family in comfort and support from others as they grieve the loss of her cousin. Thank you for being a Good Shepherd in times of need. You see all the pain we meet on this journey and are sufficient for each day. We love you and trust You, In Jesus’ name.

  38. Good evening, sweet (in)sisters ~

I’m not where I can reply to you individually, but our community manager (Becky) let our (in)writers know about the heavy burdens so many of you are carrying today. Please know that we see you, hear you, care about you, and are praying for you and this precious community often when you have no idea. Asking God’s peace and presence to be your comfort and guide over each of your individual situations. xoxo ~ Robin

    • Thank You Robin, Becky and all the (in) courage team writers for Shining your LIGHT with daily encouragement, support and prayers…We are so BLESSED and GRATEFUL for your team of writers!

  39. May you all feel the arms of JESUS holding you and walking with you through these difficult situations in each of your life….I lift them up in prayer. No matter how enormous the problem, when God is with us there’s nothing that we need to fear. With His strength, we’re also mighty. Lifting these request up in my prayers. Also, I have a dear christian friend, Jolene, who lives in the state of Washington (around my age 63-64)who I have known most of my life who desperately needs a liver transplant quickly, her health has suddenly taken a turn for the worst as she has been in the hospital for over a month now and may be taken off the waiting list for a transplant since her health is declining. They need a miracle from God to touch her body and restore Jolene’s health. This has been so difficult for her four grown children and their young families to watch their momma’s health getting worst as she is fighting for her life. I’ve been encouraging the family with scriptures and sending care packages their way. He calls us to serve Him by loving others with helpful hands, encouraging words and open hearts, especially with our prayers!!! xo TRUSTING Him, Prayer Warrior in Pennsylvania…God Bless! xo

  40. My prayer request is for my brother to find meaningful and financially viable employment. He has been unemployed for over a year now and is likely going to move Provinces in the next two months to move back home to live with my elderly parents.
My prayer is that he find employment, and something that will pay enough for him to flourish and not just exist, but I also pray for his heart and peace of mind during this time, to know that he IS enough and he IS worthy of a fulfilling life. I come against the attacks of satan on his self esteem and I bind each and every attack from satan in every other form that is being thrown my brothers way. In Jesus name I declare that what God set out for my brother will come to pass.

  41. I have Parkinson’s disease and am struggling in many ways. I also have imbalances which makes me fall. I have chronic back pain every day. Thank you for praying for me.

  42. Please pray for me to make good decisions
Navigating grief – having lost my husband after 31 years of marriage
Wanting to go back to work part time
Salvation for a friend of mine and his son
    Thanks

  43. I was abruptly unemployed (company closed their doors laid everyone off) and it is now going on month two. This is the longest I have been between jobs. I know God will care for me, he has been faithful and provided during worse moments (a divorce). I’m feeling anxious and worried being in this situation – again. I ask for prayers for my trust to continue and not let doubts or fear interrupt that, for job offers within a week, for offers that pay enough for me to live comfortably, as well as offering me medical insurance as I have had to pay that out of pocket the last 4 years. Thank you!

  44. Thank you! This at this time is so very welcome and so needed. With every one seeming to be in such turmoil with all that is going on , I don’t think in my 75 years I can remember people being filled with such negativity and just outright hate about an election and voting! Satan is certainly stirring the pot and I have just been praying for everyone. I refuse to speak with anyone about it and that even seems to rile them. I am so happy that the Lord our God is truly in control and I wish more people realized it. This prayer was lovely and brought me peace. I have been praying almost non stop for months now with all that’s going on! Blessings to all and praise to our Lord.
Keep up the good work at in courage, you are all great and lift us up!

  45. Praying for all who are in turmoil or who have loved ones with grief or troubles! Just reach out to Jesus. He is always right there waiting and will carry us through! Praying for each of you and hoping you feel His love.
