  1. Good morning. This was a great devotional to start off the new week. Thank you for being truthful and compassionate. God bless you.

  2. In Courage,

The verse reminds me of Chris Tomlin’s song “Thank You Lord”. The song tells us to thank God for small things, hard & dark times, forgiving us, keeping us humble & picking us up when we stumble. It covers all the bases. I sing it almost every day as a praise to God. Thought about Bonnie Gray’s book “Whispers of Rest” where she talks about breath prayers. You inhale & say Jesus then exhale & say help me. It will calm your soul.

    Blessings 🙂

  3. Thank you for this essential reminder!
    Very timely…

(I have just put this into action as today we in Canada celebrate Thanksgiving & our power went out hours ago! “Praise God from whom all blessings flow!” 😉

  4. Thank you for this good reminder. When we are in trouble or ill or have a family member not well or in trouble. Sometimes we are quick to ask others to pray for us. Instead of going to God in prayer ourselves and listing to God through his Holy Spirit to speak to us to know what to do next. If God doesn’t answer us right away if we do go to God in prayer first. We wonder why God didn’t. We say God why didn’t you answer my pray. Where were you. We begin to loose faith in God. But in times like this God makes us wait to test us to see how strong our faith in him is. Sometimes God does answer us but not right away but sometimes right away. But not the way we like. But God answers us to our prayers in his way as he knows what best for us. When we through time got the answer to our prayers. It might not be the way we want or like. But looking back we can see God’s hand in it all. We then see God’s ways was best not our way. In all that time we probably spent worrying about it. We where not trusting God and standing on the promises of his word. Saying your word God says this I believe you will do as your word says. We have to have that faith. If we don’t we are not trusting you God to do what your word says. A song that comes to mind that is true for things like this by Don Moen. It is “God will make away where there seems no way” God you will and you always do. Thank you incourage for today reading. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little xx

  5. I’m thankful for this mindful article. I can attest to being quick to pray. But I am learning about endurance from day to day.

I would love to say this endeavor is easy but I have not arrived yet. I don’t think we will until Jesus returns for His Church (Bride).

I’m learning to give troubles, doubts and fears to my Lord and Savior Jesus. The waiting period is my area of challenge. I’m supposed to carry on in Faith and do good to help others.

Please keep petitioning for people like me. I try to do things in my own strength. It won’t work. Submit to God, resist the enemy and he will flee. It’s the Word.

God bless you strong soldiers. I’m thankful for your prayers.

    With Gratitude,

    Your Sister in Christ

  6. I look down the road & worry that our families brokenness will get worse. I ask myself , how can God ever fix this? It’s such a mess!!!!! I’ve been praying so long & it hasen’t gotten better.

  7. If I’m honest, I have to admit that I can pray and worry at the same time! On my way to an event, I was very nervous because I did not have all the pieces put together, so I prayed as I drove, but did not stop being nervous. He answered anyway, covering every issue I had included in my prayers with His marvelous answers.

  8. Once we surrender our worries to the Lord and truly put our faith and trust in him – his peace is the most wonderful feeling.
