6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For rarely will someone die for a just person—though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. 8 But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 How much more then, since we have now been justified by his blood, will we be saved through him from wrath. 10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, then how much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life. 11 And not only that, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.
Romans 5:6-11 CSB
How much more? That’s the question we ought to ask ourselves every time we’re prone to question God’s love or faithfulness or care. Every time with think we messed up too much or our problems are too big . . . asking “How much more?” will lead us back to this fundamental truth:
God already gave up what was most precious to Him — His very own Son. If God loved us THAT much, so much that He was willing to be separated from Jesus and allow Him to endure the weight of our sin and a brutal death as payment, all so we could be restored to a here-on-earth and forever-in-eternity relationship with Him, then truly there isn’t anything God wouldn’t do for us.
Let the beautiful weight of that sink in.
Where in your life do you need more of God’s goodness, more of His grace, more of His forgiveness, more of His strength?
Ask Him. Tell your Lord and Savior exactly what you need. Open your heart in surrender and trust in how much more He has for you.

In Courage,
How much more indeed. Jesus left the splendor of Heaven to come down to broken Earth & die a horrible death just.for.you. That alone gets me awed, especially when I see myself mess up so much. That’s why I love Chris Tomlin’s new song “Thank You Lord.” It speaks volumes to me. I sing it almost every day on my way to work & home, & to church. It’s my new praise song.
Thank You Lord for the small things Like me and her on the porch swing
For summer nights and fireflies And the sound of my old six string
Blessings, on blessings, on blessings, on blessings If I still got breath in these lungs
And that’s all I need to get down on my knees And be thankful for all that He’s done
For my mama, for my friends For Your love that never ends For the songs that make us dance On this ol’ dirt floor
For my babies, for my girl For the way they changed my world Waking up today Yeah, I just gotta say Thank You Lord
Yeah, I just wanna say Thank You Lord (oh, now)
Thank You Lord for the hard times For lighting the way in the dark times
For pulling me in, forgiving again The times that I took it too far, I Gotta thank You for keeping me humble
For picking me up when I stumble And although I change, You stay the same And I don’t say thank You enough
For my mama, for my friends For Your love that never ends For the songs that make us dance On this ol’ dirt floor
For my babies, for my girl For the way they changed my world (changed my world) Waking up today
Yeah, I just gotta say Thank You Lord I just wanna say Thank You Lord (oh yeah)
Praise up Eyes closed One thing I know I just wanna thank You Lord, thank You Lord (thank You Lord)
Praise up Eyes closed One thing I know I just wanna thank You Lord, thank You Lord
For my mama, for my friends For Your love that never ends (it never, never ends)
For the songs that make us dance On this ol’ dirt floor For my babies, for my girl
For the way they changed my world (the way they changed my world)
Waking up today Yeah, I just gotta say thank You Lord
(Praise up Eyes closed) Just wanna say thank You Lord (one thing I know)
Praise up Eyes closed One thing I know I just wanna thank You Lord
Blessings 🙂

Thank you Incourage for today’s reading. I thank my Lord for going to Calvary for not only me but the whole world. Where would I be today without my Lord doing that for me. In fact where would we all be without our Lord loving is all in this world to do that for us. No greater love was that. I pray every day for my for my Family as none of them saved. That the will see this especially my elderly Dad give there live to the Lord. As no one knows the hour or the time they will have on this earth that why they need to be saved. As this Summer in Ireland we heard it on the news young one have lost their lives in cars. So it makes me pray all the more young people and my Family to get saved. My Sister’s their Husbands and kids and my Dad as said. As on the news you hear more Family left sad. It brakes your heart. My Family you can’t tell they need the Lord. As they say stop preaching. You just pray and live your life for Jesus in front of them. As God’s Holy Spirit to convict them all. That why pray especially for our young people as well as my Family and my elderly Dad. I told my Dad I pray for him and his just say good on you that you believe that. I love you all in Incourage and pray for you all and your Families too. Thank You Lord for blessing me with Your Word. I didn’t grow up being bold. I was afraid of getting in trouble. So now that I am supposed to be brave and bold to come to You and ask for Your help, I am a little shy or timid. I know You Love me unconditionally. Thank You Sir.
I believe others may be shy to take risks in being bold and brave to run to you even in our mistakes and wayward actions. I’m opening my heart and surrendering my understanding to accept Your Will for my character. I want to grow up spiritually and not be afraid to ask for Your Wisdom, Courage, Strength, Peace, Compassion, Kindness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Endurance, Love, Joy, Goodness, and Self Control.
I am so thankful because I am blessed with Grace and Mercy.
Amen.
