  1. I love this simple yet direct message, I will be looking to add this to my collection for sure!!

  2. Glory be to our great God, & thanks be to you wonderful women of God for providing this material & for giving me a chance to be selected for your new daily prayer book !!

  3. Such a helpful reminder. I try to remember that God is loving and supportive and cares for me, but more times than not, I allow myself to get anxious and stressed about my needs. And it does not feel good at all.

    • I cherish my quiet prayer time with my Sovereign Lord and Savior. There are those days that get so busy, so noisy, and stressful, and I know without a doubt, to take a few moments and just be still with God. I would love to have a copy of this awesome prayer guide, so I can reach for it, when I know i must spend time in prayer. Thank you, for every post! I read them everyday and they always comfort my heart and soul. Blessings to all the incourage staff and writers! Your ministry touches our spirit more than you will know!

  4. Prayer has always calmed my heart and mind. It’s a must I pray. I don’t think I could ever go without it.

  5. Thank You, God, for these beautiful women of faith and for doing what You did for us so that we can come directly to You and for answering prayers! We praise You and love you in Jesus’ Name.

  6. I love to pray prayers such as these, and then I go back and replace the personal pronouns of these prayers with our brothers and sisters who are in other countries that are in chaos and extreme persecution. Prayer encourages me to the see that this is about so much more than just me and my needs. It’s my opportunity to show love and compassion to my fellow believers even when I can’t be there to encourage and help in person. It then puts my life into better perspective and activates an awareness of the greater world.

    • Ronda, I so agree that our prayers are about so much more than ourselves! I think of the Ukraine war and all the refugees and all the innocent children and families that have lost everything. I hurt, I cry, and I pray. So many lost souls the devil is devouring. So many prayers to be prayed for others. Bless you, sweet sister for sharing. It uplifted my heart to know that prayers are being prayed and God hears our prayers!

  7. Your words provided such a comfort to me! Thank you so much! I do tend to worry more than I should about needless troubles that I have no control over. You have encouraged me to put my trust in Our God and turn to Him when I am feeling overloaded. Our bright, conscientious grandson’s wedding is this coming weekend and wouldn’t you know that my rheumatoid arthritis has decided to flare!? Of all times! We face a four hour drive to get to the beautiful venue of the wedding. But I know with God’s help all will be well with my soul! Collin’s beautiful, thoughtful, sweet bride to be will walk thru the meadow on the farm that Collin has mowed and even if a raindrop or two should happen to fall, we all can be reassured due to God’s Love and Protection that all that could possibly follow will be a rainbow of blessings upon the bride and groom! Thank you for your calming reading to help put my restless body at ease. May God Bless You in Return!

  14. This book would be good for me to read right before I go to sleep. That seems to be the time of day satan likes to attack me and I could use God’s Word to help me listen to Him, not satan.

  18. Incourage sisters,
I often remember the verse ‘ The thief comes to steal and destroy, but I have come to give life abundantly ‘
So much trial in this life. My sister’s in Christ and myself struggling every day. I like to bring to mind the hymn Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus….look into His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His Glory and Grace .
I would love to throw my hat in the ring for this book! God Bless you all.

  19. What a beautiful and comforting scripture and prayer. Thank you for sharing and also for the opportunity to win a copy of Pray: Daily Moments to Quiet Your Mind and Center Your Soul. God bless!

  20. Thank you for these ways to pray. Sometimes my prayers seem more about me and less focused on praising and hearing God. It’s so good to have help with my prayer life.

  21. In the midst of all of this day, God led me to pause and listen to this podcast and then reread the prayer. Thank you (in)courage for always being a click away and as was said today…God always provides us what we need…in His Perfect Love and Perfect Time! I am going to order this devotional after summer break and return to work but winning a free copy would be a Blessing…

  22. The last 3 weeks have been emotional for us. Between our boys, and house problems, we are overwhelmed. BUT I do keep reminding myself that God is there for me, for us. He will take of us, guide us. We just need to remember that and be open to Him. This prayer book would be a great daily reminder. Thank you.

  23. Thank you for this reminder of God’s infinite, loving care for each and every one of us.

  24. This is such an important and helpful reminder. Looking to prayer for mental health has helped me find peace, comfort and guidance during some of life’s darkest and lowest moments.

  25. Love thus line right here: “Thank You for guiding me through seasons of anxiety and restlessness.” Amen!

  26. I’m having a tough time financially right now with 3 kids with a rare disease our medical expenses are through the roof and we are struggling to pay bills and for groceries. I’m not working now because I’m taking care of my kids so my husband’s income is all we have. This podcast today really helped me. I was literally in tears listening. Praying that god can once again help us through these troubling times. Putting all of my faith in Him

  27. I needed this prayer so much today. I’m in the midst of a major move & often wonder “what’s next?” I need to stop where I am & tryst God to meet my every need.

  28. Thank you for this opportunity to possibly receive a copy
    Pray: Daily Moments.
It would be such a blessing.

    In Courage.

  29. This so reasonated with heart as I took a moment to stop & pray.

“Lord, please forgive me for chasing after things that don’t bring me closer to You. Help me to long for You alone.”

I am rejoicing that Adon Olam Master of the Universe, convicted my heart, again, about my impulse spending. I praise Adonai for this ministry. ❤️✨

  30. I really needed to read this today. I am a widow now and it is coming up to the 1 year anniversary of my husband’s death. The prayer was exactly what I needed to pray today.

  31. Did i EVER need to see this. This has been the hardest year for me and I’m facing homelessness. I’ve definitely been focusing more on my issues than the one who already has solved them and has held me through every other tough circumstance in life. Glad I opened my email today.

  32. Pearl, I was thrilled to see your piece pop up in my inbox. You always encourage me to look up sometimes.

Blessings on you and yours, Sweet Sister.

  33. This devotional was exactly what I needed to hear this morning! I am looking for a new daily devotional book, and would love to win a copy of yours!

  34. I did a bit of prayer in kitchen before I went to bed after reading a devotion. I feel better and slept better last night after working on bible study and reading a devotion. I need to remember to go to bed by 11 p.m. I was looking for a prayer book that Priscilla Shirer suggested, via video I watched at church, but I couldn’t find it when I was a Christian book store today.
I am thankful Jesus loved his disciples and other people as well, including all people in this world.

  35. In Courage,

All worry does is cause undue stress, anxiety & other health issues. Prayer is a way to release those anxieties to a loving, caring God who will listen & answer in His perfect timing. It lifts the heavy load from your shoulders to Jesus who is more than able to handle them. We need quiet moments to quiet our mind & center our soul. We should take time to be with Jesus daily,, especially in these turbulent times. Life is so hectic & chaotic that we need time to focus on Jesus & His love for us.

    Blessings 🙂
