Let all that I am praise the Lord;
may I never forget the good things he does for me.
He forgives all my sins
and heals all my diseases.
He redeems me from death
and crowns me with love and tender mercies.
He fills my life with good things.
My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
Psalm 103:2-5 (NLT)
When it looks like there’s nothing to praise God for these days, it’s time to pause and remember what God has done for us — to forgive us, heal us, and redeems us. In the rest of Psalm 103, King David recounts what God has done for His people:
The Lord is compassionate and merciful,
slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.
(verse 8)
The Lord is like a father to his children,
tender and compassionate to those who fear him.
(verse 13)
But the love of the Lord remains forever
with those who fear him.
(verse 17)
There is still good to remember in the midst of turmoil and unending change, so as we go about today, let’s hold onto this promise: When the bad stuff is easier to see, God is still good.

In Courage,
When I start to fell down or depressed about certain things I simply make a thankful list. I write down everything from big like Home in Heaven, sins forgiven past, present & future to small like paper clips, pens, etc. Most times I can list about 200+ items. Also remind myself of the times God brought me through trials & how I’ve grown spiritually-both in faith & trust. Ruminate on the fact that many others have it worse than I do. Constantly reminding yourself that God is good even in the midst of trials may help you get through them. Psalms 23:4-5 is my go to now a days- “yea thou I walk Through the valley of shadow of death I will fear no evil for thou art with me. Thy rod staff they comfort me.” He is with us always. Even when bad is all we can see & hear. He will see us through all these trying times.
Blessings 🙂

I don’t blame God for our current problems. We are doing all this to ourselves. It is each individual’s decision to walk away from what Jesus would do. It’s listening to God’s word on Sunday and being mean and disrespectful of others, when we leave the building or our computer. It’s following leaders who are not God and who are not of God. That’s gotten us into a heap of trouble. And we are reaping what we have sown. We will pray that God will change our hearts and minds and help us to love other people more than we love ourselves. Then God will hear us. And things will get better.

We have bad days, bad times and must remember to not allow that to make us think it’s a bad life. There is truly so much to be thankful for. Prayers for all those who were affected with this virus and praying we will resolve to peaceful measures during this injustice that is happening in our country. Let us not bring each other down to make a point across. We are all in this together and can make a difference without tearing our community or each other. It deeply sadden me to see such measures taken in order to think by doing so will voice our concerns to make a difference. Change is needed but not in the way of violence, hurting each other and ultimately creating chaos in the very community we so claim to want the change. My apologies for going off topic. Thank you for sharing this message.

We are never to blame God for what happening in our lives today. Even if not to the Covid 19. that the world this last while has been talking about. No matter what it to do with. We want to blame some one when things are bad in life. We even as followers of God. Say why God do you allow this to happen in our world. Or why did you allow this to happen to me or my family or my best friend matter what it to do with. Should it to do with loosing your Job your family member even a best friend or being told you or your friend family have been told you have cancer etc. You wonder why God let it happen. You done right by God you said your prayers most days and read your Bible most days if not done theses things everyday. Plus went the extra mile to help that person in your Church that needed your help. You say why Lord did you let this happen to me. I done all right in your eyes. I didn’t forget to pray or read my Bible. Maybe the odd day. I did help that person in my church that needed the help. This shouldn’t be happening too me. When I did theses things. Where were you God?. Why didn’t you stop it. All is bad now now. No it not God’s fault. Theses things happen. We are not to blame God. God is still Good he didn’t make them happen. God is one we need to pray too when things like this happen. Ask him to give us the strength too cope. Know he is by our side. That he will never leave us. That he always loves us. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Don Mine sings that song you get it on YouTube that song is so true. So is words. Love today’s reading xx
