You will keep in perfect peace
all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Isaiah 26:3 (NLT)
Summer is around the corner. We may have been planning trips or weddings or vacations that are no longer happening, and restlessness might be making our souls itch. Beyond summer, we might be looking at fall, wondering if school’s will be back in session, if life will feel somewhat normal again.
Nothing is certain. Everything is still a stormy swirl. In the nausea, we need to hold onto something firm, steady, grounding. We need an anchor to keep us steady when we feel like we’ll be swept away by the overwhelming waves. When worries and stressful concerns crowd your mind, take a deep breath and think on Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
Trust Him and hold onto this promise today: God is an anchor of peace when nothing seems certain.

In Courage,
These are trying, upsetting times. No one knows what will come next. In tumultuous times like these we need to anchor our hope in Jesus. He is the only one who can guide our paths & lead us through this valley of shadow of death. God alone can give us peace when our souls are weary & we are scared of the unknown. Make time each day to be with Him, seek His wisdom, & wait to see what He will do for you.
Blessings 🙂

In uncertainty we as God followers don’t need to worry. It reminds me of this old old song. People might say it is very old fashioned song. That their Grandparents sang in their day. Or you guys might not have heard of it. I do so love songs like this. They do bring me closer to God. Don’t get me wrong I do love the modern songs of today as well. You get this on YouTube it goes well with today reading. The song is call “Will Your Anchor Hold”
The words here are some of them.
Will your anchor hold in the storms of life
When the cloud unfold their wings of strife?
Will the strong tides lift and the cable strain,
Will your anchor drift or firm remain?
We have an anchor that keeps the soul
Steedfast and sure while the billows roll
Fastened to the Rock which cannot move,
Grounded firm and deep in the Savior’s love.
The song goes like that there are over verses to it.
So we have real peace in Jesus and that song is song and it words so true. Love today’s reading. Xxx

It IS great comfort to know we have an anchor of hope, security, and peace in our God. Thank you, (in)courage team, for a valuable reminder!

An anchor is a steady position that keeps its “boat” in position. It’s cast down by the captain of the boat, or the person in charge when he or deje finds a place that they want to stay steady. We are the captains of our boats (our feelings, thoughts and actions) and Jesus controls the waves, direction and is our steady anchor along the ride.
-Remember is a steady position that keeps the boat moving. Once it’s set it’s set.
-Jesus tells us to not waver back and forth like the wind…. to set our minds. Our minds in peace. On love. On victory.
-Thank you Jesus for giving us a power position through you to be steady
