Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love.
Romans 8:38 (NLT)
This is the promise we can cling to today: God’s love is not distant even when I feel alone.
Loneliness makes us feel as though a chasm created cruelly by life has been placed between us and others. We can feel lonely when we’re by ourselves or perhaps more painfully, when we’re surrounded by people. As we’ve experienced social distancing for the past two months and possibly for much longer, being and feeling alone takes a toll. We are weary. We are aching. We are longing. And though we may need to continue social distancing from one another, God’s love is not distant at all. It is near to us, living within us, and nothing can separate us from it.

In Courage,
Even though I am an introvert by God’s design I miss my church peeps. It seemed alright at first, but the more we had to miss church & just do it on line the more I missed seeing people & hugging them. It got super hard for two weeks when I couldn’t even visit my MIL. Being home alone for 12+ hrs isn’t fun when there’s nothing on TV & chores all done. Basically I missed having someone to communicate with. I prayed, looked at Facebook, etc. After a while it all gets old. Then hubby got furloughed. It’s been a hard three weeks. Through it all we’ve prayed hard & trusted in God’s love & care for us. I know certain that God will see us through this pandemic like He did the Psalmist who said “yea though I walk Through the valley of shadow of death-I will fear no evil for thou art with me thy rod & staff they comfort me.” God will love & comfort His children. No social distancing with God.
Blessings 🙂
