Mary was standing outside the tomb crying, and as she wept, she stooped and looked in. She saw two white-robed angels, one sitting at the head and the other at the foot of the place where the body of Jesus had been lying. “Dear woman, why are you crying?” the angels asked her. “Because they have taken my Lord,” she replied, “and I don’t know where they have put him.”
She turned to leave and saw someone standing there. It was Jesus, but she didn’t recognize him. “Dear woman, why are you crying?” Jesus asked her. “Who are you looking for?” She thought he was the gardener. “Sir,” she said, “if you have taken him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will go and get him.”
“Mary!” Jesus said. She turned to him and cried out, “Rabboni!” (which is Hebrew for “Teacher”).
“Don’t cling to me, “ Jesus said, “for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” Mary Magdalene found the disciples and told them, “I have seen the Lord!” Then she gave them his message.
John 20:11-18 (NLT)
We celebrate this Jesus — the One who conquered death and rose again, the One who sees us and calls us by name, the One who meets us in our grief and hopelessness.
He is risen.
He is life.
He is with us.
Our message to others today is the same as Mary’s then: we have seen the Lord! May this bring comfort to our lives and may the power of the resurrection be evident in our lives, even now. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Bev. We have so much to be grateful for in this crazy time but most of all is our Lord Jesus. His sacrifice that shows hid love for us and a pathway home to be with him!

In Courage,
He is risen indeed!! Nothing not even Covid 19 could keep Jesus down. This Easter will be different for most. It will be just like the very first Easter. The disciples were locked in their homes. Afraid of Roman soldiers. Not knowing what would happen They had fear & panic This Easter we are in our homes with a little fear. Yet we can celebrate because we know “the rest of the story”. We know He rose & conquered death!! Play the music loud, dance, celebrate, praise God for what He did for you!
Happy Easter everyone!! 🙂

Thank you for encouraging us – HE is our eternal hope! And, as a reminder, HE IS RISEN! The Lord impressed upon me the importance of Names. Jesus addressed Mary BY NAME. This tells me how valued, how loved, are each and every body (and, we each have names, don’t we?) is to God. He addresses each of us by our name; as well, each of us should ‘love our neighbor’ by first, addressing every body by his/her name. (I say, I especially need His help in remembering names – if names are that valuable to our Savior and Lord, well…)
God bless all this Resurrection Day, and beyond…

That would have been so Amazing that moment for Mary when she went to Tomb of Jesus. First got scared when Jesus was not there. Then to here Jesus call her name. What would that have been like for Mary that day. When she realised it was Jesus calling her. What will it be like for us Saved when Jesus call our names one day and calls us home to be will him in Glory for ever. Just what was that day like for Mary to her Jesus call her name know Jesus was ok. Then Jesus told her to tell people. We the saved are to do the same all year round tell this great story. Of Jesus great Love and why God sent his son to the Cross for us and shed his blood for us the Blood that heals. Start standing on the promises of God word the Bible and Prayer. Not let Satan whisper Fear into our lives. Especially at this time we live in. To do with the Various that the world is taking about. We need to be talking more about Jesus. Sing Jesus getting Jesus world and prayer into our lives. (Let Everything that has breath Praise the Lord.) Being especially if saved the Church too the world. Keep doing this even when it over. The World Needs JESUS. ALL CHURCHES TO BECOME ONE NOT SAY MY CHURCH BETTER THAN YOURS. NO IT ABOUT LOVE THE TRUE LOVE THAT WENT TO CALVARY IT ABOUT A MAN CALLED JESUS WHO DID THAT BECAUSE HE LOVED US ALL. HE DIE FOR ALL MAN KIND. JOHN 3 VERSE 16 SAYS IT ALL FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON. IT SAY IT IN GOD WORD THE BIBLE TO. Plus I love this Children song it is lovely for us too who are big as we are God Children too. Jesus Loves Me This I know For The Bible Tells Me So That is another lovely true song The Bible does talk a lot about God Love for us. It a Love that brings you tears in a nice way when you stop and think of How Much You are Loved By God. Plus Forgiven. Love todays Reading Praying for you all. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little xxxxxxxxxx

Oh, yes! We too have seen the Lord–evidence of his loving care, miraculous provision, wise guidance, and more. Such knowledge DOES bring comfort and assurance, encouragement and strength. Thank you for bringing us more personally into the Easter story. “Because He lives, we have hope”–Hallelujah!
