Several weeks ago, Bonnie Gray wrote a post about being a woman of promise, not panic. She wrote, “You are a woman of promise and purpose: God’s promise is to love and care for you. When others panic, you have the power to bless them at a time when we all need connection most.”
We want to encourage you to be women who hold onto the promises God has given us over the panic we often feel as we worry about our loved ones, our neighbors, and the uncertainty of what’s to come. Over the next few months, we will be sharing verses along with a promise to go with it, and we hope these posts will help ground you in truth and peace in the midst of anxiety and stress.
We are in this together, friends.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own understanding;
in all your ways know him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (CSB)
Here’s the promise for today: God will show us where to go when we trust in Him.
Even though we don’t know how things will be tomorrow, next week, or even in three months, we can trust that God knows what is ahead for us. He leads the way on the path He has us on. Hold onto His hand, and trust Him with every next step.

(in)courage friends,
While I’m sipping my early coffee, I’m lifting you all up in prayer. So many of you have encouraged me and prayed for me. Thank you. I find that this is a good time to look in the rear view mirror to take in ALL the times God has brought me THROUGH the valleys – never leaving me stuck there. He will not leave US stuck here either. Cling to His promises and not to your understanding. In Him, we can be content no matter what state we are in. Praying that it would be well with your soul.
Blessings,
Bev xx

Truth- He will NOT leave us stuck in the valley. We lift our eyes to the Lord and he will show us the way to go. The only way to turn right now is to God. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Thank you for the strengthening devotion today- 🙂 Kim

God has not given us a spirit of frear but of lover power and sound mind. I say a big Amen to that. We can in these days hold on to Gods promises. Remember that we don’t have fear. God will look after us. I keep looking to God trusting his word the Bible and the Promises in it and Prayer. Plus I am especially in theses days taken back to Philippians 4 verse 19 which says. And my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. So even with this Coronavaries. I don’t need to panic along before it happened I didn’t need to panic. I stood on the Promises God had for me. Plus Philippians 4 verse 19. Kept looking on God. Like that kids songs. Our God is great big God. So he is a great big God he will look after us. Look Daniel trusted him when in lions Den. God looked after him them. Even in our Dens God will look after us who are saved that trust God. I going to keep trusting my God no matter what happens. Even in the times we live in. Love todays reading Love Dawn Fergusoj-Little xxx

Wonderful words of encouragement- thank you … my 21 year old daughter told me she is pregnant with her partner aged 33 with a 7 year old son and she is struggling hugely with her own mental health … so worried .. at my wits end – and struggling to see where God is in all of this … I spend time with him every day and feel comforted but then in all comes piling back in and I worry and fret and am a weeping heap – thank you for your encouragement that God will NOT leave me in the valley … and to try and trust him

Praying for peace and that you feel the love and presence of our loving God . He has you dear sister, praying and believing with you for you and your family. He knows our hearts in every situation, ,just take the time to give it all to Him. Then all we need to do is love and thank Him and watch . Not always easy, I will be praying and thanking Him for you . Peace and His love

In Courage,
Psalm 23:4 Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, for you are with me; thy rod and your staff, they comfort me. It says through the valley. He will see us through this tough time. He is always with us to guide & deliver. The thing to do now is not panic but pray. Talk to God tell Him how weary you feel staying inside all the time unable to have church or go visit family & friends. Now more than ever we need to trust God & turn this over to Him & wait for Him to act in His perfect time. This is also a great time to slow down & be with family. Have a family Bible reading time, do devotions. Enjoy each other instead of running to the next thing. Pray together. As Christian women of promise-we need to show this world more of God’s love.
Blessings 🙂

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with. Y righteous right hand.
One of the promises God has for us that I hold on into my heart as a frontliners worker in the big supermarket . My everyday prayers for all of us that God will protect us; shield us; hide us under His wings. Hold us with His mighty hands during this pandemic economy. This too shall pass . God said , heaven and earth will fade but His words still remain and He will do something new today. God will make a way when there seems to be no way. He works in a ways that we cannot see. And He will do something new in each everyone’s lives.
Mathew 11:28
Come to me, all who are weary and burden, and I will give you rest.
So let us come to Him together in our prayers and ask God for what we need. Surely the minute we prayed, God heard our sincere prayers and working on it.
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace to God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Lastly but not the list is
Joshua 1:9
Be strong and courageous . Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
So when we hold on to God promises unto us there’s no storms in our lives will shook us, because Jesus in our strong foundation no matter what storms comes on our way. Because God is the same yesterday , today and tomorrow .
So let us keep trusting God with all our hearts.
Blessings everyone

In this time of crisis, it’s better to pray than to panic. I can’t blame those people who are less fortunate that are panicking because they have no food to eat. I’ll pray that this crisis will soon be over. Amen!
