I will make known the Lord’s faithful love
and the Lord’s praiseworthy acts,
because of all the Lord has done for us—
even the many good things
he has done for the house of Israel,
which he did for them based on his compassion
and the abundance of his faithful love.
He said, “They are indeed my people,
children who will not be disloyal,”
and he became their Savior.
In all their suffering, he suffered,
and the angel of his presence saved them.
He redeemed them
because of his love and compassion;
he lifted them up and carried them
all the days of the past.
Isaiah 63:7-9 (CSB)
Deep breaths. We are nearly at the end of the year. As we settle our hearts after the celebrations and chaos of the holidays, let’s pause and remember God’s faithfulness to us this year:
What prayers have been answered?
At what moments did you see or hear God clearly?
Who in your life has shown you more of God?
When things were hard, how did you feel God’s nearness?
God loves us more than we can imagine, friends. We are His people, His children, and God is steady, unshaken, present, and compassionate in the midst of all that has happened this year. Breathe in His grace for you. It is enough.

Thanks so much for these helpful reminders, Incourage! This is a great time to reflect on the faithfulness and the presence of God… He is compassionate, merciful, and He is ALWAYS there!
This brings to mind a post I wrote a while back => Remembering What God Has Done For Us.
Thanks so much for sharing the entirety of that scripture. I plan to read it again and again:)
Have a beautiful day and Thanks again!:)
In Courage,
2019 started out what most would consider a downward spiral. I was laid off from my part time job. I saw it as an answer to prayers. I didn’t like the job anymore & the pay wasn’t what I really expected. Deep down in my soul I knew God had something much bigger & better for me. Little did I know how great the job would turn out to be!! I know work ICU Step down clerical at a local hospital. What started out as a 2 day a week job has bloomed into 2 days one week & 3 the next. Plus working whenever either secretary takes off. Have put in 45 hrs. one week-so much for pat time. I love my co-workers & enjoy the work. My skills are being used more fully & I get to help people-which is my forte! 2019 also ended on a somewhat sour note. My FIL was back in hospital Friday before Thanksgiving got to go home Monday & died a few hours later at home. It is bittersweet. He is no longer suffering with Stage III bladder cancer, bladder infection, bone pain, etc. He is in heaven with Jesus walking those streets of gold! MIL is left to handle it all, but her whole family is here to help her.
Over the years God has seen me through many a trial. I know He will be with me & everyone this coming year. Praying God’s blessings of peace, patience, prosperity & health on everyone for 2020!!
Blessings 🙂
I have never thought of reflecting from the years past because for a while it just seemed like the years never ended. We have had a tough 3 years, but going into this new year I am going to reflect and thank God for how He got us all through it.
