Praying for all my sisters that God blesses you in your lives and for you to know you are loved and cared for by an Awesome God!!!

    • Lord, we pray for this very specific provision for Jas, praising you all the while that your eye is upon her and you know “every hidden crevice” of her heart, so her need for work and finances is well known to you. Encourage her in this season of waiting and help her to persevere in the writing as she rests in you.

    • Jas,

Praying for God to bring the right job your way. May He give you strength, endurance & financial help to finish your Master’s Thesis. I know you will do well on this report.

      Father,

I lift Jas up today. Give her the strength & guidance to finish this thesis & complete her masters degree. Help her financially, mentally & spiritually keep going. Place her in the job you would have her in. Shower her with love from her family. She has worked hard & you have blessed her along the way. Continue to bless her & guide her.

      AMEN!

      Blessings 🙂

    • Hello Jas, I encourage you to be available for God to bless someone through you.
My daughter is in graduate school also. It is my honor to pray for God to send you and my daughter resources and energy to do an excellent job in school. He delights in seeing His children do well as their souls prosper. Go with God. I love you.

      • Thank you Brenda for your prayer.

    • Jas –
I do education for an online health and wellness company. We are always looking to expand. If this might be something of interest to you, then just reply to the comment with the best way to reach you.

I’m praying that God helps you find the financial means to support your Masters work.
      Elizabeth

      • Thank you Elizabeth for your prayer and such a kind offer. I am based in NZ though would that matter? I will pray on this!

    • Dear Sisters, please pray for deep peace for my husband, the presence of Gods Holy Spirit, guiding him with wisdom, and strength. I ask for protection for him for his health, and from the enemy. He has been under extreme stress and is at his emotional end. I am so concerned for him. I pray that God would tenderly draw him close and give him a longing to grow in his faith. Thank you my precious sisters. May God Bless each of you and hold you always so close to His heart!

      • Shari – we will lift your husband up before the Prince of Peace and hold this verse close.

John 14: 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

      • Father, We lift up Shari to You today, and especially we commit to You her husband… might he be strong against the attacks of Satan, may he have renewed health, may he commit the stresses of his life to Your very capable hands… And Father, surround Shari with Your peace, may she be able to trust that You are in control… thank You for being such a loving and caring Father… we are blessed… in Jesus’ name…

      • Lord, I do pray for Shari’s husband to be upheld during this very difficult time for him. Please help him feel your Presence and sense your working in his life inspite of the distraction of discouragement. Instead Lord use this time to help him see you and hear your intense concern for him! Confirm your work through people speaking to him encouragement from You directly to his heart. Only you know exactly what he needs, Father! Please answer this prayer accordingly! Please heal his heart of any old unresolved wounds that need attention. Help him feel the hope that only comes from you and that he would know he that he is powerfully loved! Sustain Shari through this time as well and bring support for her too! Help her be a channel of healing and encouragement to her husband as well as thru the power and direction of your Spirit. In the most powerful name of Jesus name! Amen and amen!!

        • Thank you! Your beautiful prayer brought tears to my eyes and filled my heart! God bless you precious sister!

      • I will be praying for you Shari and your husband! After all prayer Is the first ministry to our husbands!

    • Thank you Jas, it means a lot to me to hear from you. Kindness is wonderful. I am recovering from a mastectomy on January 3rd this year. Stage 0. I am very fortunate, no further treatment will be needed. Quite a surprise, now a new journey. Be encouraged and I know you will have what you need. God bless you and your loved ones.

      • Thank you Jen! Lifting you up in prayer also for the Lord to provide whatever you need. IJN, Amen.

    • Father, You know the need that Jas has for a job, and You know the next step in her life journey… I pray that You will make it clear to her… and that You will meet her needs as she searches for a job. Thank You that You are our Great Provider… help her to trust in You, and rest in Your promises… in Jesus’ name…

      • Thank you Leanne!
Lord please bless my sister in Christ. Thank you for allowing her to reach out to me like this in prayer, I feel your presence in her words this morning! IJN, Amen

  2. Jennifer,

God’s love for us is super hard to fathom. Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” God rejoicing over me with singing WOW!!

My prayers are for my pastor’s wife. She went to visit her mom last weekend. Found her in bed-a mere 92 lbs. Mom hadn’t taken some meds since October. Mom didn’t look like herself. No one there is looking after her. Pastor’s wife was considering calling hospice & having a family confab. Sad but both children live 4-5 hrs. away. Mom won’t move down here with her daughter. I know it breaks my pastor’s wife heart.

Praying for all here! May God send a discerning heart to know His will. Guidance to help each one on their journey. May each feel His love, peace & contentment in their situations.

    Blessings 🙂

    • Beth –
I too live a distance from my mother and it’s often hard to know how best to care for her. I will be praying for your pastor’s wife.
      Elizabeth

    • Beth, praying for you and the family in question and the pastors wife. I echo your prayer for discernment for each and guidance and the love of God to all along their individual journey and for this poor lady to get the love and attention, correct medical care…whatever she needs God please provide. I ask these things as we gather in 2’s and 3’s (virtually in prayer) asking IJN, Amen!

    • Father, We pray for Beth’s pastor’s wife, and especially for her pastor’s mother… give her Your comfort, Your strength, Your wisdom as she makes decisions about how to best care for her mother… surround her mother with Your peace as her health has so declined… Father, be close to all… may they sense Your presence and Your peace… thank You Father… in Jesus’ name…

  3. I hate to even ask. But I am always filled with anger and I blow up & yell, all the time. I know God did not make me this way, to be so volitel. I need peace and calmness. I want to be more like Jesus! Thank you for this study!

    • Never ever be afraid to ask. Many of us here wonder how it’s possible to go from perfect calm and patience to erupting, so we understand and know that HE can give you the patience and peace you desire.

    • Father, I thank You for Pam’s honesty… and for her desire to be more reflective of You in her life… I pray that Satan will not have control in her life, but that You will cast that power away and fill her with Your Holy Spirit and Your peace… thank You Father, that we can come to You with any request, and that You love and care for Pam so very much… in Jesus’ name…

    • Pam,
praying for God to show you His Peace and to give you His tools to not let frustrations effect you and to stop you from blowing up. I need your peace too sweet Lord! I ask these things IJN, Amen

    • Oh Father we bring Cathy and her husband before you and I pray you will bring healing into their pain and loss. You only what they are experiencing and you know them perfectly as 139 says. Minister peace to their hearts as they walk through this time of grieving. Give them your strength and healing. May they pour out their hearts to you in their loss because you understand perfectly. He carries you both close to His heart.

    • Cathy, I’m praying for healing in your marriage. Loss and grief so so hard as i’ve walked through it myself. You and your husband will grieve differently and there is no way to go around it…only through it with God’s help. I went through a program called GriefShare and it has helped us so much. Praying then you know how much God loves you!

    • Oh Father, please surround Cathy with Your peace in this moment… wrap her in Your loving arms as she grieves the loss of her son… may she know Your presence and Your comfort… Father, may she and her husband grieve together and not be torn apart by this tragedy… may they come together to draw strength from You… may their love for You be reflected in their love for each other… thank You for hearing our tears and our pain, and for loving us so very much… in Jesus’ name…

    • Oh Cathy I’m very sorry for your loss.

Father, I lift up Cathy and her husband to your welcome hands. Envelope them in your love and comfort for their grief. Take any tension away between them as they try to process what has happened and may you heal them individually and as a couple. Be near, let them feel you and may they trust and lean in to you going forward. IJN, Amen.

  4. I am trying to rebuild after getting out of an abusive relationship with my daughter’s father. It’s hard to feel free as we navigate the legal issues and he still has some sense of control. Please pray that this is resolved and my daughter knows she is loved.

May she see Your hand in her life and Hear your voice directing her in This provision not only for finances but for all her needs at this time, even for providing for good relationships, as well as any physical and emotional needs! I thank you for hearing this prayer dear Lord! Amen!

    • Father, Be close to Linda… surround her with Your peace and Your love as she learns to live without her husband by her side, as she faces the difficulties of a reduced income… meet her needs… bring others into her life who will come alongside her and provide support… may she know the wealth of Your love and compassion… thank You Father… in Jesus’ name…

  5. My son, Matthew (high-functioning autism, Asperger’s) needs a job! He spent 4 years in banking, in the Proof Department & was terminated last year! He has reached out for counseling with both a psychologist & a psychiatrist. The rejection inherent in searching for a job is wearing on his nerves. I pray for him daily. I beseech fellow Christians to pray, too & specifically ask God the Father for a job for Matthew which will boost his lagging self-esteem & help him rebuild his bank account which is important to him! He is fiscally responsible & donates to various great charities! I pray Matthew will stay faithful to God while he is in a desert & that his faithfulness will be rewarded very soon with an ideal job where his disability with great giftedness will be a blessing to the company & not too much of a detractor. Bless him!

    • Father God, Almighty, Omniscient,
I come to you in prayer for Mathew whom you blessed with great gifts unique to only him. I pray Father God that You may go before Him when he seeks for that perfect job where he will be a light and a blessings to others for your Kingdom; may he find favor with You and man.
I thank you in advance for a good report because you delight in giving us the desires of our hearts. In Jesus Christ we pray Amen & Amen
Note: Have Mathew as well as you his mother read Psalms 139 until you internalize it, believe it and apply it to this request.
      Much Love and Blessings,
      Diana

    • Dear Father, Be near to Diana, and to her son Matthew… meet Matthew’s needs for a job… thank You Father, that You have cared for him and gifted him so abundantly in the past, may he feel that giftedness again, and may he trust in Your provision and Your leading as he looks for a job… be a comfort to Diana… surround her with Your peace and with the promise of Your control of this and every situation in her life… thank You Father, for caring so much for Your children… in Jesus’ name…

  6. I am having a right hip replacement on Wednesday, February 6th. Fear is what the enemy uses when I am faced with a situation I have to totally TRUST God and let go. I come to you all to stand in the gap as I prepare for this surgery and it’s recovery. It will be a long recovery but I want to be a testimony to God’s greatness. After my hip recovery I will then need a left knee replacement. I am 65 years and recently just retired and my desired is to be used to bring others to Christ and enjoy my two beautiful grand-daughter 5 & 21/2 physically healed. I too have an assignment to read Psalm 139 and apply it as I go into surgery and recovery.
    Much Love and Blessings,
    Diana

I am almost 67, Diana. I’ve had two hip replacements. The first few days are tough, but after that, it gets better every day. May the Lord be with you.

  7. Hi, I would like prayer for supernatural healing and that God will send some loving and compassionate nurses to our nursing facility. That will also have long-term experience and dedication to the job. Trusting God to do a mighty work.

    • Heavenly Father, I pray for You to bring full healing to Nicole’s body. I pray for excellent care to be giving in this facility. Please keep everyone safe in this facility and well cared for. Thank you Lord. Amen

    • Father, We know Your promise that You are our Great Physician, and that You care about our every need… surround Nicole in Your loving arms… bring healing to her body… may the caregivers in her facility see You in her… may they care with love, with gentleness, and with wisdom… may Nicole be able to rest in Your peace… thank You Father… in Jesus’ name…

  8. Wait, where was he (Eddie) that whole time? Thank you for this beautiful parallel to Scripture. It’s incredible how God takes what we’re reading that day and transforms it into just what we need to hear. Every word in this devo was incredible! Thank you, Jen! God is truly using you.

I’d like prayers for my school. We’re all starting to burn out, but there’s not a break coming up. What tends to happen as we get tireder is that friendships and really every relationship start to fall apart, so please pray that people are filled with gentleness and patience and that they stay friends. Please also pray just for my generation (Gen-Z, Tech-gen, call it what you will). We’re drifting. Finally, please pray for my dad, who’s recovering from a brain surgery and will have to undergo treatment now, and my mom, who’s sick and trying to be a caregiver, a mom, a wife, and a school counselor, all at the same time. Thank you all.

Lord, please hold on to Beth’s pastor’s wife. Help her to know what you want her to do, and please comfort her in this hard time. Please open up opportunities of where to send her mom. Thank you, Lord, that you saw even this coming, and You’re prepared. Thank you for always being good and faithful. Amen.

  9. Will you pray that I would find and meet my birth family. Evil forces are keeping me from finding them and meeting them. Please pray that God will move in a way that I can meet my birth family.

    • Father, Be close to Cecily as she seeks to find the mother and father who gave her birth… Father, help her to feel Your peace and help her to know Your leading… give her wisdom… give her peace… in Jesus’ name…

  10. I have left this request before and God has faithfully walked with me these last 9 moths. But I’m asking for prayer once more. have suffered many losses and struggles over the last 5 years. I lost my second grandson when my middle daughter learned his brain was not developed and chose to be induced and not carry him to term. Adam lived a few minutes and then went to be with Jesus. Then I lost my relationship with this daughter due to her rebellion and abuse of our family. At the same time my son lost a close friend to suicide and withdrew in grief and chose not to go to college and married his girlfriend. I am trying to love my new daughter-in-law but they are very busy and I don’t get to see them very much. My oldest daughter lives far away and I don’t get to see her much either. Then 9 months ago I lost my mom to cancer. I cared for her living in her home for 9 months while she was on hospice. During that time I was away from my husband because we live in a different city. I only went home a few days each month and he would come see me on weekends. As a result our small business suffered greatly.
So 9 months ago After my mom passed I had an emotional breakdown. Severe anxiety and depression took me to a very dark place. Ps 139 is such a precious reminder of how much God loves me. I am doing so much better and I feel closer to the Lord than ever before in my life. I know the Lord has a plan in all that he is allowing in my life. Please pray for God’s blessings on our small business…we are trying to rebuild and are facining some major tax problems. Pray for favor with the IRS that they won’t put a lien on us and will remove penalties and interest fees. We want to pay what we owe but need time. Pray for my continued healing emotionally and physically. The grief took a toll on my body and I’m suffered from a severe UTI, urethral infection, and have passed 9 kidney stones. I continue to have discomfort when stressed. I also continue to fight depression and panic attacks. I am so weary…I am so grateful for all God has done and I trust Him! I need his supernatural strength to keep walking this road He has for me. I appreciate your prayers so very much.

    • Father, Be near and dear to Anita… she has faced so many losses… may she feel Your presence in a very special and very personal way… surround her with Your loving arms… may she know Your peace… give her wisdom as she makes decisions… may their financial needs be met… may she be well – emotionally and physically… thank You for the promise that You are our Great Physician… in Jesus’ name…

  11. We pray that Cecily finds her birth family. We are complete in You. If Your will is for her to find her family then it will happen. I am dealing with grief. My eldest daughter passed in August 2018. It has been very hard for me to get back where I was with the Lord. I know she is with the Lord.

    • Sndra,
I am deeply sorry for your loss, and pray that through your sorrow, that you will be strengthened by God’s everlasting love.
      Blessings to you,
      Penny

      • Penny,
thank you for the kind words. The really sad thing is she left 4 children ages 20, 15, 7 and 9 mths. She also left 2 grandbabies. God has used the babies to give her sister and me comfort. I am doing what I can to use my sorrow for God’s glory. May you have a blessed week.

        • Sandra,
          Thank-you for reaching out.
That is so sad. I am deeply sorry for you all.
          Blessings to you all,
          Penny

    • Oh Father, be ever close to Sandra… surround her with Your love as she grieves the death of her daughter… thank You that she has the assurance that her daughter is with You… help her to feel Your presence and Your peace and Your love… help her to know that You know every tear that she cries, and that You care so very much for her… thank You Father… in Jesus’ name…

      • Thank you. Our God is awesome. I prayed that night as I was sitting by her. I asked the Lord to let me know that she was with Him. About ten minutes later as nurse came in and asked me if she could show me something. I about fell off the chair. The nurse had gone outside and something told her to take a picture of a beautiful that had appeared. Have a blessed week.

  12. I pray for my son to gain peace in his heart and mind and for the strength to handle life’s challenges. I pray for his maturity and faith in God and himself.

    • Father, Be close to Annabelle… help her to trust in Your promises that You are walking with her… help her to feel Your peace and presence… be close to her son… may he trust You and know that You are able to handle every life situation that we face… may he claim You as his strength, as his Savior… thank You Father… in Jesus’ name…

  13. I recently moved from the Jersey Shore to Virginia. Life is so different here. I desperately need a church – a church that God would place me in.
One where I can function in a way that would please him – It would be so helpful to be connected with like minded people. I am anxious to find that church and become a part of it.

    • Today I pray for strength in Christ. My husband died 6 months ago (we were married 50 years). My grief, at times, is overwhelming. God led me to the church I am worshiping at. Into the loving arms of the women there, who have cared for me, prayed for me, welcomed me. I have volunteered to become a greeter. I am overwhelmed at the dates I have been assigned. They will include some 1sts for me and I need strength to get through those Sundays with a smile on my face, instead of tears in my eyes.

      Bonnie,

I pray that God will lead you to your church home as he did for me, where you can grow in your faith and love in Christ. May God Bless you.

      • Father, Be close to Melody… thank You for caring for her in such special ways, and thank You for bringing others into her life to care for her and give her opportunities to minister to others, even in her grief… may she know Your peace and Your presence in very special ways… may she rest in the promise that You know the pain of her loss, and may Your love surround her and keep her… in Jesus’ name…

      • I do ask God to give you his strength in accomplishing the task you have committed to. He will be with you as he was when he led you to your new church. I am happy for you and I thank you for praying for me.

    • Father, Bring Bonnie to the church that You have already prepared for her… help her to know Your presence is with her as she seeks to worship… prepare the hearts of those in the church where you send her that they will welcome her with Your open and loving arms, so that she can be connected in Christian fellowship… give her Your peace in this transition time in her life… in Jesus’ name…

  14. Father how we turn back to our thots and ways when something like Cecily’s situation arises. I do pray that instead she would turn to you, to know that you, as her Heavenly Father, want the very best for her. Lord I know you will care for her and that you will do only what is perfect for her. I pray that you would intervene and show her a way that she can meet with her family. Thank you Father – for your constant love and care for Cecily.

  15. Jenn,
What a heartbreaking start your little nephew had, then to be lost and found…….. I am so happy as well as relieved for you and your family that God has kept him safe, always, and blessed you all with this sweet gift………………
    Have a blessed day all,
    Penny

I will be praying for you all today……
    Blessings to you all,
    Penny

  16. Ladies –

Can we wrap our arms around this sweet women who emailed me separately with this request.
Let’s stand in the gap on her behalf.

“I am in a dark place right now. I lost my husband 2 years ago and instead of the grief getting better it has gotten worse. I have started isolating myself from others. I stopped going to church because I felt like no one cares what I’m going through.. I can’t pray because I think God doesn’t love me so why bother Him. I’m stuck Jen and I just want to see the light again. Please pray for me.. Thanks”

    • Father, Be especially close to this woman who has reached out in her pain… surround her in Your loving arms and give her peace… may she know in very real ways that You care for her… bring others alongside her to shower her with Your love to her… may she find someone who can be a comfort to her as she grieves the death of her husband… when she is alone, help her to know that she is never alone, that You are there with her and that You hear her pain and have promised to be always close… thank You Father… in Jesus’ name…

      • Leanne –

I wanted to especially thank you for so faithfully lifting these women up in prayer today. Grateful for your ministry here.

  23. Please help me as I pray of a job. I have been without a job for four years and it has been a strain on my family. I went on a couple of job interviews before the holiday to no avail. This is really weighing on me as I have a Masters degree with over 15 years of management experience. I’m feeling so lost. Thank you in advance.

    • Tekeia –

I will be praying for you specially this week that you would not get discouraged in your pursuit of a new opportunity. That you would have the strength to continue to put your self out there in a variety of avenues knowing the Lord will pave a way for an opportunity, even if it doesn’t seem like your ideal job.

I know all too well this very struggle as we have gone through seasons of unemployment as well and it’s so hard, but He is still soo good!!

  24. Father
I pray for everyone one of my sisters ( myself inclusive) I pray that our fear will be turned to faith in you the only trueGod! The one who knows us well with in all of our messiness yet loves us so deeply with an everlasting ❤️ love!
Great is His mercy towards us! He gives beauty for our ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
Healing is the children’s bread. May He heal us all Spirit , soul and body !
May He continue to encourage and sustain us as we walk closely with Him. May He refresh us , enable us and lift our hearts to a place of deeper trust.
Let us submit our often stubborn hearts and demanding wills to Him! Yes He is able to transform circumstances but even when He chooses not to let us praise Him in the midst of them. He is all knowing and all wise and will do what us best for us.

  25. Please that I have the strength/endurance to wait for God’s work. It’s been a rough 2 years personally and the struggles continue. I know God is working and He has sent “manna” in the form or friends, family, etc. It’s still a very painful road and I hope to hold on till I see His glory come to pass. Thank you.

    • Dear Father, Giver of all gifts, I pray for your daughter, Tonya, as she searches for employment. Lord, you know her needs, her experience, and qualifications. Please reveal to her the position where You want her to be. May You be glorified through this job and may she be a light to others as she lives her life for You.
We ask for this in the name if your son, Jesus, Amen

  26. I am asking prayers that God will provide affordable housing for my husband, an invalid, and myself. And also discernment regarding financial needs.
May God abundantly bless each of you, my sisters in Christ. Thank you

  27. Please pray for my marriage. My husband needs to know the Lord on a more personal level. He does not attend church with me. I have been praying conviction on him and the devil has been fighting hard. Every day is a struggle for me to be strong in the Lord and to love my husband like Jesus does. It is so hard to control my tongue when I am hurting. I want so much for him to see Jesus in me. I feel like such a failure. Please pray that God will give me strength and a heart more like His!
