  1. Sarah,

Parenting is harder now than ever. There are more distractions to pull our children away from God. Life here on sinful Earth is tough. I feel heartbroken listening to the news. So much divisiveness & hatred. Satan is pulling out all the stops to get people away from Christ. The war between good & evil is at its highest points. Like you I want the fruit of righteousness to be seen in my life. I feel like a failure some days. Praise God He never gives up. He keeps working on & with us to bring His work to completion. We need to be willing vessels. We must ask for forgiveness when we fail Him & we will. As we plant and water, we can put our hope in our God to give the growth. We can rest from anxious toil and trust that God’s not done. All we must do is plant the seed & watch God do the rest.

    Blessings 🙂

  2. Sarah,

I enjoyed your post so much this morning and needed the reminder for those days when I am wondering where is the “harvest” from all the work I’ve been doing and doing as I believe God would have me do, so thank you!

I also visited your blog and the post for Double Chocolate Christmas Cookies Two Ways – looks awesome, will be trying those this Christmas!

    Merry Christmas!

  3. As a mother of older kids, I still take encouragement and comfort in this. Now, when their decisions are more their own and I see them slip and fall, it is important to remember that God still has them, is still growing them from all of the toil and all of the ways I tried to water and sow back when they were younger. Thank you.
