  1. “Ordinary and unexpected” paths are the best reason I can think of for sticking close to Truth. I have your beautiful book (That cover!!) in my pile, and, although I don’t live suburban, I do have a lot to learn about pouring myself out for the people who share my rural address.

    • Michele, yes, I think you’re so very right. If we’re not walking towards Truth and grounding ourselves in scripture, we won’t be able to see those twists and turns for what they are. I can’t wait for you to read Finding Holy in the Suburbs! My prayer is that it will challenge and encourage all of us, no matter where we live.

  2. God is in the everyday, in the big happy, exciting moments and in the sad, mundane moment to moments. He is everywhere and right with you, beside you, beside me. Never forget that. He is omnipresent and omniscient. He is with you, knows what your thinking and feeling and is ready to comfort and provide for you….We are so lucky to have such a benevolent God who has gone before us and gone after us in any situation. Xx

  3. Ashley,

The pathways of God’s kingdom are in ordinary, mundane walks/tasks of life. God wants us to open our hearts to those around us. The ones living in our neighborhood or street. We need to take time daily to release our to-do lists & just enjoy the surroundings & notice those around us. We can find & put holy in the streets where we live. We must be intentional about praying when we walk. He is always with us so why not start a conversation?. Let’s go for a walk & find our Holy God with us in the scenery & spread that Holy to others on our street.

    Blessings 🙂
