  1. Grace,
I’m with you in that there is no such thing as too much coffee….can I get an Amen? You say you are not a missionary, but a suburban mom. I have to tell you that you are on one of THE toughest mission fronts. To capture and influence the heart of a child is not an easy task. We can teach, and model, and share scripture until the cows come home and we still don’t know if they will catch the fire of Jesus in their own hearts. You ARE a missionary on a brave front.

    Patricia,
I’m with you…there is something therapeutic about digging in the dirt, watering, and then watching to see what God will bring about from the earth. Each plant and flower is beautiful and rare. They give me an insight into the wildly imaginative mind of our Creator. I appreciate that you write directly from the heart. I sense you are the real deal and speak plainly. I like that.

Welcome ladies. I look forward to reading more from you.
    Blessings,
    Bev xx

  2. I have been reading IC since very close to the beginning, right after finding Holley Gerth online when I was searching for a devotional book. I have watched the teams of staff and writers come and go through all these years, so welcome Patricia and Grace!

  3. Grave and Patricia, Welcome! I love the InCourage fami,y and look forward to reading more from you both!
We need you both , and I agree this is a great place of love and support, the world and we denied more of !

Have a great weekend, my friends,

  4. Grace,

You are in a tough mission field. Raising multi-cultural, Christian children in this day & age is hard. There are way to many bad influences-TV, Radio, music, movies to name a few. You have your work cut out for you. I am with you on mentoring and discipleship over food. Love being with people & finding out about them. You have a lot to offer here at In Courage. I look forward to reading your posts.

    Patricia,

We have a few things in common. I love thin-crust pizza, dark chocolate, hot tea, breakfast with friends & living among mountains. This country is going through another racial divide. It seems to be getting worse everyday. God wants us to love Everyone- NO MATTER WHAT! God bless you for championing racial equality. That is a topic that needs to be heard & discussed. I worked at a university & a lot of Muslims were going to school there. It took a bit of courage & God’s love to not worry that they were crazy ISIS out to kill us. We can all learn from different cultures.

    Welcome both of you!

    Blessings 🙂

  5. Grace,
I sense a kindred spirit – we have all of your favourites in common! 🙂 I have enjoyed your writings to date, and look forward to hearing more of your heart. And your timing is impeccable – you almost always seem to be writing from my journal. God bless you for your listening ear and obedient pen.

    Patricia,
I am in the Canadian wide-open, and it makes my heart miss the forest, too. And I would buy you a LOT of dark chocolate if ever you felt the urge to come de-clutter at my house. 🙂 Until recent events, I had not realized the depth of the racial divide still existing in today’s world; in my province, it is more pronounced between the First Nations communities and the white man. I look forward to learning tips from you on how to make a difference in my small circle.

    Love & prayers,

    Vicki
