  1. (in)courage,
Of course I’m slightly partial to “A Moment to Breathe” 😉 I signed up for the 40 days of Truth. May we all step away from the world for awhile and prepare our hearts for what Christ did for us on the cross. Lent is like the “advent” of Easter. Jesus gave so much for me…wanting to give Him my heart and my time…..
    Lenten Blessings all,
    Bev xx

  2. I just signed up for the 40 Day Journey – YAY!! Like Bev, I also enjoy my A Moment to Breathe devotional each morning, but I am also going through a book about spiritual disciplines and growing closer to Christ.

Oh, how I love Jesus! He loves us, this I know. For the Bible tells us so! Little ones to Him Belong. They are weak, but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves us. Yes, Jesus loves us. Yes, Jesus loves us. For the Bible tells us so!

    In Him,
    Lara <

  3. This filled my heart this morning. I just love how God syncs everything and one realizes that you are exactly where you need to be! My Bible study is in sync with my (in)courage devotionals, which are in sync with our Lenten study, etc. As a church we are using a book of daily devotionals, 40 Days of Decrease. A different kind of hunger, a different kind of fast. Our padtor’s sermons will be based on this each week. We are also opening seats at our Easter tables. Together, in every area, may be all focus lovingly and openly on the resurrected Jesus!
    Blessing to you all.

  4. Thank-you for offering the 40 days of Lent, I signed up and look forward to reading each one.
    Blessings to all,

  5. I really never participated in Lent, I was more focused on prayer and time with Jesus everyday. fasting was hard too, until I really sought Him about it and did it in love and still it was only partial, a meal or two a day and giving up computer time.

  6. In Courage,

I realized that Wednesday-V-day – was also Ash Wednesday. I’m currently doing Bonnie Grays “Whispers of Rest” a 40-devotional guiding us to a place of intimate rest. I pray everyone can step away from this noisy world & find a deeper calm & a better relationship with Jesus. It is sad that a school shooting happened on Ash Wednesday. It just goes to show how hard the devil is working to distract us from being with God.

    Blessings 🙂
