It’s the fifth day of the new year . . . anyone else already feeling a tad overwhelmed? (Hand raised high right here!)
We love a new year, a new page on the calendar, new dreams, fresh starts, fresh energy and gumption and God-given resolve to make this year, this new set of 365 days mean something more than the 365 before. And there are so many amazing resources and tools, programs and planners to help motivate, organize, and inspire us! We love a good planner and make-my-life-better system as much as the next gal. Truly. But sometimes . . .
Sometimes we aren’t ready for something elaborate. Sometimes we just need simple. Something that bridges the gap between our desire for meaningful and our need for manageable. Raise those hands if you can relate! (We see you, and you, and you! Cheers and solidarity and thank you.)
With this in mind, we’re excited to share with you a fun, EASY way to kick off the new year: the Find Your 2018 Word of Truth Quiz from DaySpring. These seven simple questions will lead you to one word that will remind you of God’s truth all year long. A word that will inspire you to live your faith every day.
Click here to pop over to DaySpring to take the short 7-question quiz and find your word — nothing overwhelming about that! Once you have your word, download the graphic that goes with your word and share it on social media. Be sure to tag #incourage so we can follow along!
Then come back here and share your word in the comments, along with what it means to you. As an added bonus, we’re giving one lucky commenter* a $100 shopping spree to DaySpring.com!
Whether you’re a slow starter or you’re sprinting out of the New Year gates, we’re here to cheer you on in the good things God has for you in 2018. May we embrace this fresh start not for the sake of change alone, but for the sake of truth.
Let’s lean in to truth together. What’s your word?
*Must comment by 11:59 pm on January 7th to be entered in the drawing for the $100 shopping spree. Drawing open to U.S. residents only. Winner will be notified by email.
