  1. I am anxiously waiting for my book to get here. It will be a few more days because it has to be forwarded from my old address, but I’m diving in as soon as it does! THANKS

  2. Wow! “We have one true enemy, and it is not one another. If we get distracted from that, we do the enemy’s work for him.” This flipped a switch on for me. Thank you for your ministry, honesty and transparency! I feel like I can bring down walls around me.

    • Hi, Lazondral! Thanks so much for reading. When I realized that “one true enemy” thing, it was a game-changer, for sure.

  3. What an awesome post. We can create community right where we are no matter how small we feel. God will equip us with what we need wherever he sends us. Great timing as I’m starting a ladies bible study!
    God bless, Tyra

  4. Oh, my word, I love this! I’m so, so tired of all the Facebook “hate” out there – both by those I agree with politically, and the “other side.” Thank you so much for writing this!

    • I hear you. It does give me hope to remember that Jesus prayed for unity and oneness for us (John 17:21). That always makes me feel as if the odds are ever in our favor. 😉

  5. Deidra, I cried my way through this post. I wish I could properly express myself here, but I’m not going to try. I just want to say that your words are accomplishing more than you know. Praying for your message as it gets into the hands of so many. <3

    • When you and I sat next to each other at Beth Moore (remember that?), I had a pretty powerful experience. It wasn’t/isn’t anything I could/can adequately articulate. But, I always associate you with that moment, because you were right there next to me. Much love to you.

      • I’m in Springfield right now, not far from the venue where we saw Beth. I was describing the experience to my friend just an hour ago and how enlightened I felt after that trip. It blows my mind a little that you would leave a comment talking about that same day. Very special, indeed. <3
