  1. Jennifer, thank you. I’m so with you: I absolutely love the concept of God being Light, and I too, am learning that it is God who pulls us toward Himself – over and over and over. Two of my favorites are Luke 1:78-79 “The morning light from heaven is about to break upon us… to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.” and also James 1:17 “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” Thank you, again.

    • Hi Christan, Those verses are wonderful. To know that God does not change, that He is steadfast even when we are not, is so comforting! Thank you so much for your kind response.

  2. It’s so nice to think of Him lighting your way, not even with flashlight but a spotlight. May He shine upon our paths in 2016.

  3. Jennifer,
It is so like God to give us glimpses of Himself and His glory! He wants us to know and understand His perfect love for us! Every time we wander far from Him He woos us back with the Light of His glory and grace!
    Blessings 🙂

  4. Just now seeing this post, and I love it so much. I especially love these words of how Jesus “imprinted seeds of longing for what only He could give.” YES!
