One of the things we love about this community at (in)courage is your willingness to do what James calls, “the hard work of getting along.”
As we head into our sixth year together, we wanted to take time to deliberately pray for one another. It’s a profound blessing how this community already gathers once a month around our, “How Can We Pray for You” blog posts. Prayers requests are shared and tender prayers are offered up for our sisters in Christ.
So won’t you join us for 7 Days of Prayer?
7 days of learning to love one another better.
Since we’ve been given the biblical mandate that we all belong to each other {Romans 12:5, NLT}, we wanted to take a week to prepare our hearts to intercede for one another.
To focus on what it means to love my neighbor as myself.
To open our hearts for dialogue about what it might look like to walk around in someone else’s shoes.
To prepare for a conversation we’ll be hosting this fall — a series of blog posts about what it looks like to do life in a way that reflects the truth that we actually are better together.
Because we believe that every person matters and that we are all better and stronger together because it’s the mandate given by the Gospels. And we believe it is a deeply timely message for our community.
So before we begin to have any conversations about these topics, we’re committing to going before the Lord in prayer, and inviting the (in)courage community to join us.
