    • My gratitude is to God for every breath, every new morning and our freedom to say so in our great America! Thank you God!

    • Beautiful way to see a daily reminder.
Giving thanks takes the weight off a load.
      Cindy
I’d have to tag all the folks who come to church’s cafe
as they daily remind me to be thankful.
A meal given in His name.
      We’re all outsiders without Christ.

    • It is a wonderful reminder when plaques and other inspiring “signs” around our homes. I know since I no longer work due to crippling rheumatoid arthritis/wheelchair patient. It helps so much to see a beautiful calendar and looking at the photo, and one little plaque I have, Prov 3:5-6 and yes Lord, I will trust.
I think one of the neatest things the Lord does when we look “at the means of drawing us to the Lord’s help, and to lighten our load” there is a name which the Holy Spirit brings to your heart. Often it is one that makes you smile, ((hugs)) or another is to say a prayer right then for that person. Thanks, I am so mindful during this time how grateful I am for my parents. They are in heaven, but they encouraged me, and showed me the way to Jesus from a tiny tot. What a great heritage and also what a wonderful thought, Thank you Jesus, Jesus paid it all. And then I can make that day a renewed day after all. Martha Smith

    • This simple sentence reminds me to give thanks to my Lord and God. When I am in a mindset of thanking Him, I am then able to truly praise Him and worship Him!

  1. Hi. I’m leaving a comment, but I’m unsure of how to ‘tag a friend’ just in a comments section of the blog….

  2. Anna,
It’s 3 am here and I’ve been up for quite awhile tonight…can’t sleep because my heart aches for my prodigal son. I remember being up with him in the night for a long time when he was a baby…I just didn’t know I’d be up all night for him as a young adult. Still, I will give thanks to God for all my many blessings. The Lord has truly been good to me. Yes, I need a reminder to always give thanks – not just in “Thanksgiving season”. I am going to tag my good friend Lisa who is going through a divorce. So thankful for her friendship.
    Blessings,
    Bev

  10. What a beautiful visual reminder to give thanks. In the hurry of our world I desperately want to slow down and give thanks often in my day. I would give one to my friend Chanin who is a little bit farther on the road of life then me…she has helped me to see the importance of living daily surrendered to God. That there is peace there, that he will bless my obedience and that I am enough, just as I am!

  11. Thank you, that sign is such a lovely reminder! I will tag my friend Lisa who is fighting cancer for the third time! So thankful for her, and the many blessings in my life! <3

I am thankful for my mother in law Lynn, for many reasons, but specifically when she showed up at my house this weekend with a little gift bag of socks, body stuff, and some other girlie stuff I needed. She knows we live on one income and any extra money goes to the 3 little ones so mama has to do without. But she also knows sometimes mama needs some things too. Put a smile on my face all weekend! I am a blessed daughter in law.

  13. I love Thanksgiving time but would love the reminder all year to be thankful. I am tagging my friend Jan – who has always encouraged thankfulness – for years she has kept a gratitude journal – daily taking time to be thankful.

    Blessings
    Lisa

And that “Give Thanks?” Just beautiful! If I win, I would give it to my friend, Tina. She’s been my heart-friend since I was ten years old. We’ve gone different ways at times in our lives, but she is still a blessing. As a single mom, she does so much for her children, and she inspires me.

  28. I have always loved Thanksgiving with my family around the table. This year I am far from home & those I love. It’s hard to read Facebook posts & blogs on gratitude all at once. It would be better for me to be reminded to be grateful everyday instead of for a season. I would share with my friend Kelly Who would also love the reminder through out the year.

  29. God has so graciously blessed me with “true” friends. These are special friends who are always there for me and lift me up when I need it. Simply put, I am so thankful for the gift of true friendship. Being a single mom can be so lonely and very hard at times, but with my beloved sisters the journey is so much sweeter.

  43. What a beautiful sign to have on the wall! Ever since I read Ann Voskamp”s book on gratitude I have tried to be more intentional about being grateful, but I so often forget. What great reminder it would be to read the words Give Thanks every day! I am thankful for my friend, Cindy, and I think she would also love one of these to hang on her wall.

  44. I would love this ‘give thanks’ wall decoration for my mom and I. She has always taught me the importance of giving thanks in all circumstances and now I am teaching my daughter the same. My house is decorated with verses and quotes to remind me of His goodness and to help focus more on the promises than the problems, so this would be a great addition! Thank you and blessings!

  45. I would love to have the “give thanks” wall art. It has been a theme that my husband and I have been talking about since September when we went to a great conference at Billy Graham Conference Center-The Cove. Thanks for being such an encouragement to me!! Thank you to our heavenly Father who gave you to me when I needed you most and keeps showing me what a treasure you are!

    • And I love you, Nancy. The Lord’s timing is perfect and He knows better than we what (who!) we’ll need to be in our lives as a conduit for the Spirit’s work. That ‘when I needed you most’ timing has been more than balanced out. Thank you for your love, for being more than available, for your godly prayer and wisdom.

This morning during my quiet time a song of praise and “thanksgiving” came upon my heart, so I sang to our Lord…’I will bless you O Lord, I will bless You O Lord, with a heart of “thanksgiving”, I will bless You O Lord. With my hands lifted up and my mouth filled with praise; with a heart of “Thanksgiving”, I will bless You, O Lord.’ In the midst of heartache, He is restoring my JOY! I will give this wonderful wall hanging to my precious friend, Cathy. Her church helped their family move into a new home. She is a shining example of praising our Lord in the midst of trials. I AM thankful for her, but I am also thankful for my friend Rose, who is my baking buddy and a dear friend. She never minds listening to me on the hard days, and laughs along with me in all my silliness. ~Rachel~

  60. Just subscribed to your blog today and what a great first email to receive! I agree that it is easy to follow the “Today I’m thankful for…” each November, but it’s easy to forget to give thanks the rest of the year. I’ve always tried to have an “attitude of gratitude” but find it hard when difficult and stressful things happen. My new mantra is “Give thanks everyday”. Today I am thankful for my wonderful sister (and best friend), Linette, who makes giving thanks everyday easy! May God bless you and your readers today and everyday.

  61. I am so very thankful for my friend Lori. She and I have walked through some tough times together. It is such a blessing to know that I am accepted for who I am and that no matter how long it is between visits we can pick right up like we just visted yesterday.

  70. I am so very thankful for my best friend and husband, John. We have been through so much, and continue to remain “in the valley” but despite my rotten attitude he is always trying to encourage me and put a smile on my face. He never complains and gets angry. He is my example of what it looks like to fully trust God in all circumstances. One day we will be out of this valley, whether here on earth or when He takes us home, and I know He will tell my husband, “Well done good and faithful servant”.

  71. I am thankful for my Mom who is also my friend. I had major surgery on Friday and she has been doing everything for me and my daughter! Janice H!

God is good!

  78. So thankful for clean running water. Something I take for granted all too often but so many live without. And for the Living Water of my Lord.

  80. Oooh I love this! I am working on my own Thanksgiving post this morning and it is reminding me of how thankful I am for so many friends and family who gather in to our home through out the year… but it’s also making me miss my girlie (*Kayelyn) who now has a place of her own! (Sure, it’s just 5 minutes away… but still!) She is also lacking some things hanging on her wall so this would be a great gift!

Our family has gone through many hardships these last number of years… it has been hard on my children… of and on we have talked about giving thanks in all situations… and again, this past week we are here again… This is a beautiful reminder… I would tag my friend Robin – she has been such a speaker of truth to my heart!

  93. This has been a challenging season, but I thank God for being my my strength and shield. I’m also very thankful for my husband Randy, who although he is commuting a long distance for work right now, comes home and is very attentive and helpful around the house.

  94. I am thankful for my best friend Ann who is my sounding board, gives it to me straight when I need it but don’t want to hear the truth, loves me and my family unconditionally and loves the Lord so much! 98. I’m thankful for the constant, everyday presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in my life 24/7! I’ve been through seasons of ignoring Him and seasons of needing Him desperately and I’m finally in a season of where I should be…worshiping Him and appreciating Him for who He is and what He did and continues to do. My beautiful family, friends and all the wonder of this world made by His hand are a bonus! I can honestly say I have never been as full of gratitude for everything in my life as I am right at this moment. (Thanks, Ann Voskamp!) I have no idea how to tag someone but if I win the set, I would surely share it with my daughter, Sarah, who I’ve been thankful for over 26 years.

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for her continued love as single mom to two newly adopted down-syndrome teens from Bulgaria. She is truly a blessing, and giving me – and her children – much for which to thank God!

  102. I am very thankful to have my friend Ann in my life. In the past two weeks, she has knocked my socks off with her kindness and by her intentional blessing of me. She came early to two different events I was hosting in the past 30 days, just to help me set things up and be together. She went above and beyond to make my birthday special, by donating to an organization I love AND making a personalized home decor gift that I love. Her past few months (and year really) have been difficult, full of family illness and stressful work situations, on top of which, she is going to school. That she would take time out of a schedule full of important things to bless me speaks volumes into her generous heart. She is a beautiful person, and I am grateful God thought her up and had us cross paths.

Blessings to you, Ann. (Regardless of this giveaway’s results, I am thrilled to call notice to your beautiful soul in this public way.)

  103. Thankfulness is something the Lord has been working on me on a day-by-day, minute-to-minute, process. What change has happened on my outlook on life. God is Good!

  104. Not sure how to tag a friend on a blog comment… But I want to enter for Rosalyn my friend who has been a major blessing through this pregancy of mine that’s been hard! She has 4 young kids of her own and yet she’s brought me meals, watched my kids and prayed for me!

  105. I’m thankful for my family and good friends…I’m tagging my friend Lisa::I love that in our friendship, we find that our kids are great friends too. I love how we can get together and the dynamic of all the kids together leaves all of us having a great time together wherever we are (=

  106. Thank you for the reminder 🙂
I’m so thankful for my best friend June, who was the first person that led me to a personal relationship with God. I’m also thankful for my friend Karen, who helps me continue to grow that relationship.

  107. I’m so thankful for the life God’s given me, the beautiful place I get to live, the family I get to live near, so much to be thankful for! I’m tagging my mom, my friend. What a blessing she is to me!

  108. I’ve been learning about the importance and power of giving thanks through Ann Voskamp’s books. It is a difficult habit to learn but so worth it. I would give one to my friend Lori who has walked through so much with me. It would be a way to thank her for her friendship, love and wisdom that she shares so freely with me.

  109. I love this reminder to give thanks to God for my daily blessings. I would want to share one of these with my daughter, Mary Beth, who is a dear and faithful friend and who has modeled thankfulness through a season of rapid changes in her life.

  113. Looooove this reminder today especially…thankful for these hard, little children being crazy days;)

  114. Thank you for doing this giveaway. I would love to win one of these to hang on my wall. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it is such a great time to be reminded of the heart attitude which should be practiced all through the year.

  118. I would love to give thanks to Elizabeth Trail for being such an inspiration to me, without even realizing it.

  121. Yes, sometimes we all need a visual reminder to Give Thanks in all circumstances! I’m thankful for a new friend that I am partnering with in ministry of fighting against human trafficking, Rachelle. She has brought me much encouragement this past week. Thanks, God for new friends, and thanks, Rachelle for the words and simple acts of encouragement!

  122. What an amazing giveaway! I am so thankful for my friend Donna. She’s been an incredible mentor to me in my spiritual walk. <3

  123. I am thankful for my friend Tiffany. I don’t see her often, but when we do get together, it’s like we pick up where we left off. No time has passed, and we are still close! Grateful for that kind of friendship. 🙂

  124. I am thankful for this season of life, and all of the wonderful people God has placed in my path.

  130. Wow look at all of the comments! I saw this on the site and it’s on my wish list! I’ll tag my *mom* and send her this way;)

  131. I led our Children’s ministry moment in the service yesterday, and had “primed the pump” with their Sunday School teacher so they would each have something to share that they were thankful for. I began by sharing how I was noticing that our country has lost it’s thankful heart, as we have just bypassed Thanksgiving Day in favor of the gimme, gimme, gimme attitudes that are prevalent with the coming of Christmas gifts. I started by asking if they knew John 3:16, (Kade recited most of it) then took them to Colossians 3:16, about singing your heart out and being thankful, then they each told what they were thankful for. What a blessing it was!

  132. at this moment I’m thankful for my workout buddies, and the crazy time we had this morning getting chased by an angry rooster. seriously. i screamed and shook like crazy, and then laughed my head off. those girls are good for the soul.

  133. I am thankful for a loving God who brings serenity to a very crazy world. I am thankful for my family and for my home.

  134. I am a word person so this is very cool… tag a friend, that is quite hard actually as I have so many that come in pairs including two daughters.. I am going to tag my newest dearest friend Lisa who lives in CT and has a really hard job as a pharmacy clerk. This will hopefully help keep her spirits bright.

    thanks!

  138. I’m thankful for my God, who showers grace an mercy! Love to Madison (would give one to her) and my Grandson Kaleb.

  139. Thank you for the giveaway. It is so important for each of our lives that we are “thankful” I am thankful we live in a country where we are free to worship God, read out Bible and pray for those that do not have that freedom.

I am thankful for my sister, she is so kind and encouraging.

  140. A beautiful way to be reminded to ‘give thanks’ every day.
Would love to tag my best friend Chris D but she is not on social media.

  141. My best friend is my daughter who lives almost 3000 miles away from me. We’re both reeling from the loss of my husband earlier this year. This wall hanging would be very meaningful—for both of us.

  142. I have been unemployed for 6 months, but I am so thankful for the opportunity to strengthen my faith and my family’s faith. I can’t wait to see what God has planned! I would love for my precious friend and “sister” Lynn to have one of these too, as she has had her own difficulties this year.

  143. So thankful for Gloria…we co-facilitate our women’s ‘small group’ bible study together. It’s always better with ‘two’! 🙂
    Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving!

  144. I’d love to share this with my friend, Jodi, who just lost her home to a fire last week. I can’t imagine what her family is enduring right now, but, even in this, she reminds me that people are far more important than any possession and I’m just so grateful she and her family are still here. Another amazing thing is that despite the magnitude of the loss, one possession that came out of the fire unscathed was her husband’s grandfather’s bible. As he said while sharing that with me this morning – “God preserves His word”. She’s been such a dear friend to me and I’d love to be able to bless her with this when they are settled again in a new home.

  145. I grateful for a new circle of friends that meet for prayer and encouragement. (I’m off to tell them about it and encourage them to stop off here to comment.)

  146. I love this reminder! And it’s something I was talking about with my (new) friend, Candace–we have so much to be thankful for in this country, even if we’re just talking about the basics like food and water!

  147. What a beautiful daily reminder it would be to see that every day. I would share with my sister Cara =)

  148. I’m so thankful for my friend Amy. So glad to have her nearby after many years of long-distance friendship. 🙂

  149. This semester has been very difficult for me in college. Despite that, this week when my apartment got a subleaser, and I had no place to go, I have been surrounded by precious friends who have taken me in. I’m currently staying with my friend, Grace, who is one of my campus ministers. She has been my Christian encourager and advisor here and school, and when I was having a hard time, she lived out the hospitality of the Gospel (taking in the strangers, feeding the hungry), and took me in. I’m so grateful for her care. I would like to give her one of these signs as a thank-you for her love.

  150. I’m so thankful that God intervened during the time I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was only a short month ago that this all started with a routine screening. I’ve since had surgery and only waiting for one more test to come back. I am believing it will be low so I will not have to have chemo. Either way I am praising the Kord for who He is. He is a great God who is over all things. Couldn’t be more thankful!!

  151. My dad just had quadruple bypass surgery. In one of our many conversations while waiting in hospital, Mom gently reminded me that this surgery would make this Thanksgiving the most thankful of all. His surgery, and his new lease on life, has certainly given us all a moment to pause and be thankful- just like the wall hanging says.

  152. I am thankful for a few dear wise friends God has put in my life. They walk with me and pray with me when I feel overwhelmed. I trust them completely.

  153. So thankful for my friends Marilisa and Susan to “do life with.” They keep me looking to Jesus.

  154. I am thankful for the new house I am moving into in 3 weeks!

  155. My best friend is Kerri…… I’m thankful that she is always there for me…. bad or good….
    afarage(at)earthlink.net

  157. I am thankful for so many things… for my faith and my family (husband Shad and kids Kaylee, Macy & Steele)… for my Mom Matters ministry and my Leaders Made lifegroup…. as well as my Couples LifeGroup…. I am thankful for my friend Robin – she holds me accountable and keeps me grounded!

  158. I’m so grateful for my salvation….that Jesus loved me so much He died for my sins!! I would love to win and would share with my sweet friend, Ms. Stephanie, who is undergoing dialysis!

  159. Thankful for my son and daughter-in-law who are walking with God through a difficult pregnancy, not knowing if their little one will live. Yesterday they named him (for my godly husband!), because “whether or not he lives, he is not a throw-away.” We pray that he, they, and we will all bring God glory.

  160. I’m so thankful for God’s faithfulness.
I’d like to tag my friend Joyce O. who reminds me through her physical limitations to be thankful for the little things in life.

  161. I’m thankful for Gale Rowe. She is not just a friend; she is a sister in Christ and more. She speaks truth to me in love, supports me, and her home is always open as a place of safety and comfort.

  162. I am thankful for my family – it’s so great to have them there during all of the ups and downs. Want to tag my awesome sister Amy Lightner – love you!

  163. Beautiful reminder! Just getting through a hard time and could use this beautiful reminder. I’m also thankful for my friend Amanda who has helped me through this rough time:)

  164. I’m so grateful for the friendship of my pastor’s wife, Connie. She reflects the light of Christ in her encouraging words, compassionate care, and constant outreach to those who may feel forgotten or hurting.

  165. I love the wall décor! What a great way to remind us to stop & thank God for all of the blessings we have in life, especially when the negative stick out far greater than the positive.

I’m thankful for my sister, Claibourne, for putting up with me on my grumpy days when I’m having trouble remembering to be thankful.

  166. I am thankful that no matter my circumstances, I can give thanks and praise God! He carries me through everything. I can trust Him! He is always faithful.

  167. I have so many friends to be thankful for including family. My best friend just happens to be my daughter, Katie Grace. She is my beautiful reminder to give thanks.

  168. I would love to have a reminder to be thankful and grateful hanging in my home. I am especially thankful for my mother, Sue, who is also my best friend.

  169. Wow! This community is so vibrant. I am Thankful for the written word, both in the Bible and in today’s society- it encourages me, builds me up, challenges me and points me always to Him. I would love to hang this in my entry way and I’d be most happy to share it with my good friend Beth!

  170. My girls and I (ages 12, 7, and 5) have been keeping a gratitude journal nightly for a couple years now. It is so interesting to see all of the things we have to be grateful for (even during some of our toughest times!) God bless you all! Tracy

  171. My daughter and I have been trying to practice gratitude through the struggles of late…what fun it would be to have one and one to share with her as a visual reminder…. Can never have too many reminders 🙂

  172. What a great reminder to give thanks at all times. Would love to have this and one to share with my friend!

  173. Thank you for the opportunity to enter this giveaway for such a beautiful and necessary reminder in these days of financial stress, fear of loss, marketing strategies that make us think we will be bereft somehow, and media that makes us feel we are not enough. So many beautiful scriptures to remind us of God’s love and care, including one of my favorites from Hebrews 13:5 “Be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said; “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Love from Him gives us our truest value. This lovely wall hanging is a gentle reminder of that. God bless you for giving some away.

I am so grateful for Linda, Debi and Mardi, who affirm that I can be a blessing in this world, and that the love of friends is my greatest gift.

  174. I would love to receive this reminder. I want to tag my husband, Eric, for his kindness, love, and patience–and I could use the reminder towards gratitude. We’re expecting our first child in April, and with my pregnancy symptoms it’s hard to be grateful some days.

  175. I’m thankful for Debbie Whittiemore, my mamma & my best friend. My rock. She is alway there. Literally she lives across the street & helps me in my single mom journey & has alway been my encourager & my inspiration. She is the most selfless person I know!

  176. I thank God every day for my precious family that He gave me. I am so thankful for my daughter, Rebecca. She is a wonderful Christian woman that loves her family and is raising my grands to know the Lord and teaches them to be thankful each and every day.

  177. What a lovely idea for a giveaway…a gift that keeps on giving in reminding us to keep giving thanks 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity to win such a beautiful sign and also one for someone we care about! I’m thankful for many people in my life, so it’s hard to tag just one, but I’d like to tag my friend and sister-from-another-mother, Stacy. She is a wonderful mom to four little people who I am privileged to have also been with from the beginning. Even knowing they are blessings, days can be tough with four toddlers under one roof and reminders to give thanks, regardless of the circumstances, are always helpful!

    God bless!

  178. Thankful my husband Jim is coming home from Liberia in time for THE Holiday (Christmas) and my sister wbo prays for me and mine. Love you Michele Welton.

  179. Awesome giveaway! I’ve been struggling for several months to give thanks to God for everything he is doing in the face of a very bad situation going on in my life. He is the only thing that’s kept me going and today he gave me a miracle! Our God is an awesome god and I will thank him everyday for the rest of my life through good and bad!

I am also thankful for my (in)courage sisters who keep me mindful of the things that are really important. I love you all! Happy Thanksgiving!
    sue

  186. I find a visual reminder always makes me turn my heart to being thankful for all God has given me. He knows the needs of my life and always meets these needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. My sister who is a strong believer, would love to enter this drawing as well. Thank you for all the encouraging thoughts that minister daily to my spirit.

  187. Would love to have such a beautiful piece and would love for Mandy Hamblett to have one, too!

  188. I’m so very thankful for my best friend Lorraine. Having devoted my life to my children, I have struggled with finding out who I am after so many years. My children are now grown and one resides on the east coast and one resides near the west coast. Our house is empty and she has managed to help me fill it with good memories, instead of the sad ones which tried to fill all the empty space. Our children were all the same ages and I’ve known her for 22 years. She is truly the only person I know who listens to understand instead of listening to reply. She reminds me that I did my best as a mother and that even though I have to make peace with letting my kids go, that there is always enough love from a friend to fill the empty space left in a parent’s heavy heart.

  189. I am so very thankful for my precious daughter, Elsbeth, who is such a good friend to me! She is a devoted wife, and the loving mommy to my two small grandchildren (who are only 16 months apart). If I win, I would offer this to her and reinforce how very grateful I am to be her mom!

  190. So very thankful for my friends Ellen and Betsy….through the years they have been a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, always pointing me to the Lord with their love and their lives!

  191. I am so thankful for my friend Rita. She is not on social media, but she knows better than anyone I know how to truly be social. In my darkest hours, she was there to lend a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on, along with a cup of tea while the kids played.

  192. I was so blessed and surprised when I read my friend, Susan Lewis’s, sweet words to me today. We have talked, shared, prayed, and cried together. I know God sent her to me and I value our friendship as a treasure.

  193. Thankful that God’s mercies are new every morning and that his love never fails even when i do. Thankful for my dear friend Amy who moved to far away:-)

  194. I am so thankful for my friend Mary. She’s the kind of friend who tells me the truth, truly an “iron sharpens iron” relationship.

  196. I’m thankful for my Savior who loves me despite all my faults, also my amazing husband, and my sweet daughter. God is good always.
I’d share with my dearest friend Angie.

  197. I am thankful that in a year of personal upheaval and everything-is-topsy-turvey-and-difficult, a group of dear friends has come along side, put on their muckraking boots, held my hand and helped me stand straight and give praise and thanks to God. (Diane, Sheila, Jan, Rhonda, Sherry & Naomi)

  198. I am so thankful for my family…the people who know how truly broken I am, as we muddle through life together; for my dear friends, who have help me stand strong this year when darkness overwhelmed; and for my Lord Jesus, to whom I cling in order to survive. His Grace is Sufficient!

  199. I love the wall hanging. It is such a beautiful reminder to give thanks in any and all situations. I would like to thank my beautiful family for all their support during my husband’s illness. He has kidney failure and needs dialysis treatments every day. I always have one of my daughters or sons, or my sister here for me when I need to talk.

  200. I am so thankful for my sisters in Christ Nikki and Bethany who keep me accountable and help me grow in my relationship with God. Nikki helped me come back to God when I had turned away and Bethany introduced me to Bible Study Fellowship which has deepened my faith. I am so thank the Lord has brought them into my life because we are growing closer to each other and Him at the same time!

  201. I am forever grateful for my friend, Carolynn. Who has stood by me through thick and thin for almost 15 years now. Supporting me, comforting me, and laughing together through our tears… She is my very best friend and I thank God every day for her friendship.

  202. I am thankful for God.. For conviction and giving me the strength to admit when I am wrong, to surrender all to Him, telling the truth even when I was terrified to do so..
I am thankful for my husband.. for showing me what unconditional love is all about. I honestly don’t deserve his love.. Yet he keeps on loving me.
I am thankful for grace and mercy.. I definitely would not be where I am right now if it were not for Jesus Christ.

I tag my Husband, Christopher.. <3
My best friend Jessica and my mother Melissa.

  203. Thanks for the reminder to give thanks during the non Novembers!!!! I need to remember to give thanks in all things…when the clouds come out and the sun doesn’t shine.

I’m thankful for so many people….I guess I’ll tag my mama, who doesn’t have a facebook.

    • Oh, and why I’m thankful for her – forgot that part. Where do I start? I’m thankful for her because she has been an incredible example to me of a woman fully surrendered to God. She points me to Jesus in everything. She’s one of the most amazing hostesses I’ve ever seen – her home becomes like home to whoever walks through the door. She’s sweet, funny, generous, fun to be with, and just all-around fantastic and I love her!

  205. Thank you for this wonderful giveaway. That would look perfect on my wall. I’d give the second one to my amazing daughter, Erin.

  206. I am soooo grateful to be part of this community. To hear. To know. To understand I am not
    alone. Thank You!

  207. I have several friends that I am thankful for..hard to choose but I would say Laura. She has so been my support, my prayer warrior, my helper these past three and a half years since my then husband decided he no longer wanted to be a family. I am blessed to have her friendship and give thanks for her.

  208. I love this! Such a beautiful reminder to always have a thankful heart. Today and every day I am grateful for my mother, who is my best friend! She has shown me what unconditional love looks like and she is the only person in this world who truly understands me! She is always always always there for me and gives SO unselfishly! And I truly do not know how she does it, as she is caring for my step father who is battling lung cancer. Even in the midst of her greatest challenge, she still finds the time to listen to all of my problems and makes sure I know how much I am loved. I cannot imagine life without my sweet best friend….my Mama 🙂

  209. Thankful for all that God has shown me and the way He has grown me in the last year. This would be a wonderful reminder for us to look at every morning as we eat breakfast…to start our day in thanksgiving. I am so thankful for my friend Sarah…

  210. I am thankful for Jesus and his never ending love for us. I am also thankful for the Godly woman who he has placed in my life over this past year.

  211. I have just the place picked out for beautiful reminder. We are a Pastor family, and have lived from parsonage to parsonage for the last 25 years. There is a bright and sunny spot in our kitchen, my husband and I would see the reminder every morning as we sip our coffee. I would give my daughter the other gift. She is a beautiful young woman inside and out. She came home from living in the College dorms to help take care of me as a chronic illness landed me in a wheelchair living in constant pain, and growing disability. She is attending a local college part time and continuing her dream of becoming a teacher. I am so thankful for her, and very proud of the way she loves and follows the Lord. I will tag my daughter…

  212. I’m grateful for my friend Patricia Morales, who came to visit me in Dallas, where I moved for school earlier this year! She stayed for three days and helped me make my new place a home. She’s my sister in Christ and my best friend!

  224. I am thankful for posts like these, that captivate my attention and get me thinking. I am so thankful for my mom, Kristen, who has been a solid rock all throughout my life. She has showed me how to live in faith and by faith. She continues to praise God in all circumstances and I am blessed beyond belief to have someone like this who has raised me and who loves me. Thanks mom!

  225. So thankful to be a Mother. After years of infertility and faltering dreams, 10 years ago next month we became parents through the gift of international adoption. Happy to remember this is what I longed for! (Especially happy to remember this during Thanksgiving Break!)

  226. Just gave away a “Blessings” word wall hanging for a few of our family and friends who are settling into a new home. The can put cards and pictures around this word. “Give Thanks” word wall hanging would be nice as well. I really enjoyed reading your blog. Thanks for another idea!

  227. It is so very easy to dwell on the parts of life that are hurtful, upsetting, or irritating and to completely forget all the reasons we have to give thanks every day. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday for this very reason. It is a time to STOP all we are doing and truly remember all we have to be thankful for. My beautiful daughter Macy (whose name means “gift of God”) was born on this, my favorite holiday. I love to stop and remember to give thanks for her and my two boys every day.

  228. Very thankful for my sister on the other side of the continent. She’s having a lot of health problems, but taking time to think through thoughtful Christmas gifts for her favorite nephews.

  229. I love these type of wall signs. I have one that says “Believe”. This one is a wonderful reminder to stop and give thanks all the time.

I am so thankful for my new online friend and sister-in-Christ Mary Gemmill. I live in Texas; she lives in New Zealand, but we talk online every day and share our lives. She is such a super prayer warrior and always wants to know how she can pray for me. It’s amazing how much we have in common and how close we feel to each other after such a short time and having never met in person. We share encouraging photos and articles via facebook and email. She is one of the most Godly women I know and I thank God for her every day!

    • Jenny Griffis….you are altogether to kind !
I love how God connects us across the oceans and we can be family in Christ.
I am grateful to know Jenny too, and enjoy our daily fun and friendship.
No matter how far apart, in God we are united and praying for one another is one of the very BEST things we can do.
The prayer of the righteous avails much… moves mountains, releases captives, heals the sick….I LOVE praying for my friends and seeing what our amazing God can do.

      xx

  230. I love this reminder. I am thankful for my friend Colleen, who serves God and others faithfully and with a joyful heart

  231. This would be a beautiful constant reminder to have around for myself and my whole family. Thank you for the giveaway!

  232. A beautiful way to be reminded throughout the year to cultivate an attitude of thanksgiving! I am thankful for so many of my friends, but my dearest and best friend, Kae Wilhite, continues to always be there for me, to listen and give advice (even when I don’t want it!) and to stand with me in prayer.

  233. I am so blessed to have many friends to be thankful for , but the best of is these is Kathee. We have been to many mountain tops and and many valleys together and Kathee is the first I call in Joy or in trial. Kathee and I would love to display “give Thanks” on our walls.

  234. I’m thankful for so many things….but, because my husband has been gone for a month, it reminds me how thankful I am for him and all he does for our family.

  235. I am thankful for my mother Carol. She is my strength, my rock and my foundation in faith. My prayers are for her now.

  236. I am grateful for my Mom. She’s had a lot of health problems and pain and was recently diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. God has made her into such a beautiful woman of faith. God is so good, no matter what!

  237. I am so very thankful for my friend Meg. She provides encouraent, accountability, and support. I’d be lost without her!

  238. I am thankful for my best friend and partner, my husband. We have been married for fourteen years and though we’ve struggled, with God’s help and guidance we continue to grow stronger every day.

Thanks for the wonderful giveaway. Happy Thanksgiving!

  239. I’m thankful for my God given husband. He stands besides me and encourages me. He takes care of me through thick and thin. I just can’t thank God enough for bringing him into my life.

  240. I am thankful for my daughters. As they have grown older and have kids of their own, we have become friends. I love how God uses family to create friends! Happy Thanksgiving!

  241. In these busy times we all need to be thankful and this would be a great reminder. I would choose my daughter Sarah-Anne.

  242. This artwork is beautiful! I would like to tag one of my dearest friends and godliest mentors: my mom, Christie. I’m thankful for the many years she spent (and continues to spend!) pouring into my life and teaching me the importance of serving the Lord and my family. She is my selfless, godly role model that I can only hope to one day imitate for my own children. She loves hanging Scripture and Biblical truth around her home, and this wall hanging would fit in perfectly.

Thank you so much for this opportunity!

  243. I’m thankful for my health and my family. Especially thankful to be able to raise my kids. Love to teach them gratitude. The verse you quoted is perfect! Same on Thankful For Today book.

  244. What a beautiful reminder this would be to give thanks for all the blessings the Greatest Gift-Giver of all has given and continues to give us each and every day! Would love to give one to my sister who is going through some challenges.

  245. Thankful for my friend Kathy – with whom I share prayer, laughter, tears and brussels sprouts!
I truly give thanks for her friendship!

  246. This is a beautiful sign! I would love it in my new house. We just moved to an old house in the ‘ghetto.’ It was a call on our lives that my husband and I had felt for years, but due to the housing market, was impossible until this year. Finally we thought we could break even on our Newlywed purchased townhouse from 7 years ago- put it on the market and had an offer within 3 days! We lived with my in-laws for the summer and found a house that felt right- although not the dream house I always imagined. We’ve lived here for a couple months now and love it. It isn’t perfect, but we know God is going to use us and move us in big ways through this house! We want out house to be a place we share with others in anyway we can. We are still figuring out what that will look like, but time will tell.
@brittanguyen has been a huge support though all of this and despite many thinking we are crazy….has never treated us that way or even hinted that she thinks we are:) This sign would look great in her house too!

  247. This wall hanging is a beautiful reminder of what I am thankful for….21 months ago we lost our 23year old son to suicide. Since then, I have watched my husband struggle. I see him play out the “what ifs”, the “if onlys”, and “I should haves”. I’ve watched him struggle with his business and the stress on making payroll constantly. Then two months ago, he had a heart attack and a triple bypass the next day….so all that being said…I am thankful for the warning sign we had to get to the hospital before any heart damage was done. I am thankful I am dealing with a depressed but recovering CABG patient than dealing with funeral arrangements and estate settlements. i am thankful that God never left my side through all of this. This Thanksgiving I am truly thankful.

  248. Thankful for my dear friend and prayer mentor, Luanne! 🙂 (And she refuses to get on FB, so tagging there is not possible – but I’ll “tag” her via voxer!! Ha ha!)
