  1. Karina,
What a great Psalm to meditate on this Thanksgiving and anytime, for that matter. Our worlds may not be as we would like them to be, but there are always blessings to be thankful for. Even if our world is really bleak, there is always one great blessing that remains…that our Lord God is awesome in love and power and has offered us the gift of life eternal. All we have to do is claim this blessing and thank Him.
    Blessings,
    Bev

  12. This a favorite Psalm and one thst is a wonderful reminder to begin each day with a thankful heart. Even in the midst of our trials there is always something to be thankful about! Expressing our thanks to God and others opens our heart to blessings.

  13. I am so thankful that I know and am known by our glorious Savior! I cannot even imagine a life without Him. I don’t know how those without Him can get through the sadness of this world, the trials of daily life and the weight of the bondage to sin. Just the thought of these poor souls trying to get by without Jesus makes me even more committed to get out the glorious Gospel so that all may know the peace, comfort, love, joy and hope that only Christ can give. Praises and blessing and glory and honor be to Him that sits upon the throne and to His Lamb for He truly alone is worthy!

  14. FATHER GOD, I thank Thee for your unconditional goodness and mercy that Thou has bestowed me everyday of my life although I am worthless in Thy sight.

  15. Thanks so much for this wonderful reminder, Karina- it reached me all the way in Australia! Even though we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here, it is so important as you say to daily remember to thank and praise our loving Heavenly Father for who He is. Psalm 100 is a great one to remind us to be thankful.
    Bless you.

    • Oh Ema, I am so sorry for all of your losses! I am praying that as the new year approaches, that God will give you an eternal perspective. This is where things begin to shift. This is where we realize that there is a greater purpose and glory in all circumstances. We truly understand that God doesn’t waste our hurt. He comforts us, heals us and restores us. He is near to your broken heart. May you seek deeper intimacy with Jesus and find your fullness of joy there. He is reason enough to be thankful.
