Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.
Impress them on your children.
Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road,
when you lie down and when you get up.
Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
Deuteronomy 6:4-9

WOW! The power of the verse, the beauty of these shades … a wonderful beginning to this sunny Sabbath morn. Thank you!
For the past few weeks, I’ve been sitting with the last few chapters of John. For there is a post-traumatic stress that emerges for Jesus’ beloved companions that must be considered as they emerge from their witness of His torturous death and mind-numbing resurrection … and the gradual realization that their Savior just might be leaving them forever.
This is a story of deep relationships, a tale of intimate conversations, the processing of untold horrors, and consideration of immense soul-searching questions. The Holy Spirit is given and miraculous signs appear. An overloaded boat groans with fish and a beachside grillfest is gratefully received.

Bless you both for the comments and the sender for the reminder. I prayed from it and am equipped for the days. I really appreciate the viewpoints Linda brought up from the final chapters of John regarding the apostles state of being. I am inspired. Well done.

Love the ocean scene with that verse.
I truly love God and praise Him daily! It may not seem like it at the time, but deep in my soul I know I’d be nowhere and nothing without Him!
I have recently had 2 big prayer requests answered. One person is home from hospital and doing ok. Another is free of pain. Praise God!
He is awesome and so is the weather today!
