This is an invitation to you – to the world-changers, visionaries, creators, dreamers, writers, life-embracers, encouragement-seekers. To the mamas, the sisters, the introverts and extroverts. Wherever you are, whatever your passion, wherever you most need community – we want to invite you to join us.
We haven’t just thought of you in passing or considered you a number on a spreadsheet.
We have prayed for you.
We have had you on our hearts.
We have done more than make room – we have planned for you. There is a seat here, a space with your name on it, saved for you.
It’s community coming together off the blog post and Twitter – it’s finding a group of like-hearted sisters who are living the same season of life as you, who can hear your story and say, “I get you.”
You can develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity and honor. – James 3:18, MSG
Finding community takes hard work. Choosing to stay in community takes even harder work. Being brave enough to share your story is nearly a superpower. But we have prayerfully done the hard work of putting together an online space where you can find community.
We’re inviting you to join us on Monday to register for one of our (in)courager community groups.
We’ll kick off our winter session with some amazing leaders and groups, and a few lessons learned along the way.
These small groups of 30 that meet on Facebook aren’t led by experts or professionals. They aren’t accountability groups, support groups, or places for self-promotion. They aren’t perfect. What they are?
Encouragement groups. {or should I say (in)couragement groups}
The opportunity to live life together with other ladies who share your same passion or stage of life.
A place to come as you are, kick off your shoes, and find friendship, prayer, grace and a shared love for Christ.
It’s our heart that we would come along side you in doing the hard work of getting along in a space where you can feel safe to share you story. We also want to let you know that we might not have the “perfect” group for you in this season, but we’d love to connect you with other wonderful community groups that are available online, and we’d invite you to email us if you have questions.
Our prayer this session is that the (in)courager community groups would be a place of grace. Where the expectations of perfect are left at the front door and the only expectation is that Christ would fill in where we fail.
You can learn more about the groups that we’re offering this session here and read responses to some of our commonly asked questions here.
We can’t wait to meet you!

You actually make it appear really easy together with your presentation
but I to find this topic to be really something which I believe I’d never understand.
It sort of feels too complex and very large for me. I am taking
a look ahead to your subsequent publish, I will try to get the hold of it!

I’m really excited for these groups to begin their winter session! Though I’ve popped over to (in)courage many times over the past few years, I didn’t know about the community groups. Then, a friend of mine pointed me to one that looks tailor made for me! I am seriously counting the days until it starts! Thanks so much for offering them to us!
Blessings, Joan

Oh that’s so exciting Joan! (only 2 more sleeps!)

I already get daily emails from incourage. I tried joining a group, but it looked like I was just adding my name to your general email list, so I didn’t do it. In the FAQ section on “How do I join?” it said that you were already full. I’m apparently not doing something correctly. lol 🙂 I’d like to join the “Empty Nesters/Women over 50” group. Can you help me to do this?
Crystal Stine says
Hi Carol! I’d love to help you 🙂 On Monday, come back over to (in)courage and click on the “Community Groups” page at the top. Once you’re there, you’ll see a spot on the right that says “Join a Group” – and in that list you’ll be able to click on “Empty Nesters/Women Over 50” which will take you right to the list of available groups. You’ll be able to click on the group name to see the leaders, a small description of the group, and register by clicking the “add your link” button at the very bottom of the page. If you run into any trouble, please feel free to email incouragers@gmail.com on Monday and we’ll help make sure you get into the group you want!

Thanks, Crystal! I’m going to go over and check out the groups available this season. I’m so excited for this first time I’m able to participate in these smaller community groups. Thank you and I’m grateful to all the wonderful women at (in)courage who have worked hard to develop so many ways to connect, be encouraged and to grow in this online community! From posts, to linked blogs, to Bloom Book Club and now the (in)courager groups…I’m blessed, challenged, encouraged and safely growing as I pursue God’s unique purposes for my own life. God Bless the day the (in)courage vision was born and God Bless all of you who work hard to further that vision!!

Thank you so much Babs! What sweet words!

These are great groups to help women in all stages of life. You can share information, love on each other, pray for each other and just do community the way God intended us to.
Life can get hectic and trying to balance it all can seem overwhelming, but with community and friends on your side it makes the load a little better.
Blessings! 🙂
