  1. Melissa,
Fall is my favorite season as well! I will admit that sometimes I don’t decorate for fall because I know that Christmas decorating is just around the bend. But, you have inspired me to keep it simple and at least do something to celebrate this beautiful season! Thank you.
ps. I have made pumpkin bread twice…does that count? 🙂

  2. Love love love fall! My favorite part is the changing color of the leaves. I am a huge fan of cooking, so I might make some pumpkin squares or something this weekend.

Like your decorating ideas, especially that they are easy & on a budget!

    Thanks for the ideas!

  3. That was fun to read…I also love the fall smell of anything pumpkin and will be trying that recipe tomorrow! Thanks:)

  4. Love pumpkin and pecan dump cake and pumpkin butterscotch bread AND applesauce cake with cream cheese frosting…and lighting candles anytime of day – thanks for the post!

  5. Love the decorating ideas especially using what you have and being creative with it! I’ll be looking for fresh inspiration around my house all day! The recipe would be perfect for sharing with family too!

  6. Summer slips into fall almost unnoticed here in Florida. Your ideas will help us enjoy the crispness of the season, in spite of the temperature outdoors! I’m anxious to visit your blog and discover what else is up your sleeve! (P.S. I, too, am a pastor’s wife with three children, ‘though all grown and out on their own now.)

    • Nice to meet you, Nancy! Thanks so much for connecting. Two out of my three kids are grown and on their own. One 13 year old left :-). I’m savoring THAT too! 🙂

  7. Fun to see you over here, Melissa! Is it weird to say I recognized your ottoman before I saw who wrote this post? (giggle)
I’m trying to hold on to every bit of Fall loveliness before it slips away! I appreciate your practical and beautiful suggestions.
