Bloom is a beautiful community and we’re thankful for every one of you.
We’re readers and writers, givers and receivers, teachers and learners. On any given day some of us are all those things.
One of the ways we take care of one another is to offer free books to those who desperately want to participate in a Bloom study, but aren’t in the position to purchase a book due to financial hardship. It’s a “kindness of strangers” sort of thing, where one sister steps in for another and says, “Let me help you!” and you let her because she can and you need.
We try our best to make it possible for everyone to participate in the Bloom study by negotiating with publishers to offer our featured books at the lowest price possible. But if your financial situation is stressed and you are unable to purchase a copy of A Million Little Ways, you can request a free book today through Friday. We ask that you only request a copy if you truly can’t afford the book and are willing to participate in the study. We have a limited amount to give away and that will depend on how many sponsored books are purchased.
We will most likely receive the maximum number of requests in just a few hours, at which time the form will close (we’ll update this post). In our happiest dreams, the Bloom community’s generosity overflows and every request is able to be met! We’re ever grateful for those of you in a financial position to purchase multiple copies for others and all two-book minimum Sponsor book purchases receive free shipping with the code BLOOMBOOK.
To request a Sponsored Book, simply click the link that applies to you below and complete the online form.
If you are a U.S. resident who can’t afford the book, please click here to request a Sponsored Copy. Form is now closed
If you are an international resident living outside the U.S. and would like to request an electronic copy of the book, click here. Form is now closed.
We are thankful for DaySpring and Revell Publishing Group for providing a limited number of copies of A Million Little Ways for those requesting a free copy. We are also SO thankful for each of you– for stepping in and caring for your fellow Bloom sisters by purchasing a sponsored copy. This need would not be met without you!
We will be in touch via email by the end of next week to let you know the status of your Sponsored Book request.

Hello! How do I sign up for this new study-“A Million Little Things”? I already subscribe to your awesome email – will I automatically be included in the study? Thanks so much, debbie
Robin Dance says
Hi Debbie,
Yes, everyone who reads along is considered to be part of the study. Wouldn’t it be awesome if we could all meet somewhere and do this? And drink our favorite hot beverage?
This is our version of doing that very thing…we’re just in the comfort of home or happy places, reading at our convenience, and joining in the conversation here in comments or on our Facebook page :).

I already bought the book and I’ll be waiting for the girls on the sofa. May the Lord give us a great time.
Robin Dance says
Indeed :).

This will be so great. I borrowed Emily Freeman’s book ‘Good Girl’ at the library and was hooked. Having this possible opportunity with a sponsored book to be a part of a study with her new book is amazing. Thank you and the sponsor’s who help so those who can’t buy a book can still learn from this inspired author.
Maria Welke says
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to possibly join this book study. Thank you so much 🙂
Brian Gardner says
Hello, I would like to sponsor 10 copies of Emily’s book, but when I click on the link to purchase it requires a recipient name. Can someone contact me and let me know how I’m able to do this?
Thanks!
Robin Dance says
Brian,
When you click the SPONSOR book option, webcare at DaySpring knows not to send the books to you but their system requires a name and address. It IS a little confusing but I promise ten books will not show up on your doorstep :). If you’re more comfortable, you’re welcome to email webcare@dayspring.com or call 1-877-751-4347 to place your order.
(I’ll email you, too, but thought this explanation might be helpful to others so I’m commenting it, too!)
THANK YOU for such a generous gift!

Got your email Robin, we can hash this out there — thanks for responding so quickly!

Thank you for your sponsorship. It means so much to folks like me who want to take part but are limited financially. I requested a free book and pray that God will direct one my way. Bless you, Brian.

Will sponsorship be available again anytime soon?? Would love to get one in my hand!

Is it too late to get a sponsored book in time to participate in the book group? I live in NZ I wonder if it will be available at the library?
Rebecca says
Hi! I was so surprised when I received a copy of ‘A Million Little Ways’ in the mail today and wanted to thank Dayspring and/or any of the sponsors. I Resigned from my position with state government in April of 2012 after my husband and I welcomed our third child into our family. At the time, my mother was battling cancer and was unable to continue helping to care for my little ones and my husband and I agreed that daycare was not an option. I love staying home with my children, but it is hard to get by on one salary. My husband and I are always able to pay our bills, buy groceries, etc, but there is NEVER any extra play money after that. I had already requested that my local library purchase this book and then I found the link for the sponsored books and swallowed my pride and requested a copy. I have already devoured the first chapter and look forward to reading and following along with the book club. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I truly intend to pay it forward one day!!!
Katie says
I see that the sponsorship is closed. I just stumbled upon your website today and was wondering if it is too late? I really would like to take part in this study. Thank you
Robin Dance says
Hi all,
Yes, friends, once book sponsorships are closed, they’re closed. The best thing to do is follow the author for each study, and if she/he guest posts somewhere, usually they give away some more books. Also, if you join our Bloom Facebook group, sometimes friends have extras they’ll send you (links are on all of our posts).
Hope this helps!

I haven’t seen any links to posts offering gifts of A Million Different Ways. Is there a particular or specific place/ area in a blog where I may please look? I am a 70 year old disabled Christian woman who is part of the Bloom Facebook group and likes to pay forward. I contribute the books to our church library after I read them for others enjoyment and encouragement in the Lord. I am hoping to find a friend who will pass a book along even if its been loved a little. Thank you. Blessings and hugs!
Robin Dance says
HI Marie,
Tomorrow (Friday, November 8) our Guest Contributor is giving away a copy. Enter!! Or you’re welcome to post that question on the Bloom page. 🙂

Fastest way to get a book?
I don’t have a Kindle or E-reader.
Thanks.

Bonnie,
If you order through DaySpring.com, they ship very quickly; they should be in your closest local bookstore, too.
