We Don’t Have To Understand

My husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary this month. I am so grateful and happy to be celebrating my marriage to this man. Watching him endure the things he has, has given me a front seat to true faith and trust in God. We have been through so much, from very early in our marriage. More than I could have ever imagined. Things I could have never planned for. Things I did not know how we would get through… but the best thing I have learned is I don’t have to know! God has plans for us that we might not understand, but His plans are good.

This verse comes to mind and brings me such a peace of mind. I do not have to always understand. I don’t have to know what is going to happen. I need to follow Him. I need to trust in Him with all my heart. That is my job. He will help me and He will get me through. It might not be easy… and most likely it won’t always be easy, but we will be okay. His ways, not mine.

I would love to share with you the print I have made as a reminder for myself that I do not need to always understand! You can just click on the image below {a free PDF printable} and you will be able to open or download this image, that you can then print to use in your own home.
(Personal use only, please.)

To display in our home, I put this print in an 8″ x 10″ black frame. The print is 5″ x 7″.

Don’t you think it is such a relief to know we don’t have to get by on our own understanding?! We can put our trust in Him and let go!
