The beauty of the internet is it’s a fluid medium; content can be revised with a few mouse clicks to correct typos or add new information. In this case, there wasn’t a post originally planned for today on our Details & Schedule page but we’re expanding how we’ll feature Guest Posts and wanted to communicate that change.
Because we received a record number of submissions – and with a desire to feature as many writers as possible – we’ve figured out a way to share more than the five posts we originally scheduled:
At the bottom of each Friday Guest Post, we’ll include a “Second Helping”–an excerpt from another featured guest with a link to her site to continue reading. In addition, we’ll feature Guest Posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays as Notes on the Bloom Facebook Page. Please be sure to Like our page if you haven’t done so already and be ready to read and encourage those we feature; you’ll likely relate to many of these stories.
We aren’t able to feature everyone who submitted a post for consideration (yes, there were that many!) but we’re encouraging them and the entire incourage community to join us for a BIG ol’ community-wide link up following the conclusion of our Bread & Wine study on Friday, August 2nd. Whether you submitted something for Guest Post consideration – or have yet to write but have plenty to share – you’ll be able to link-up your post on that day.
Friday’s Guest Post is by Megan Tietz, author of Sorta Crunchy, and our Second Helping is courtesy of Dawn Camp, My Home Sweet Home. Get ready to read some wonderful thoughts by each of these ladies on the topics of Food and Community!
Thank you for flexing with us as we seek to honor our community. We are so grateful for each of you!

Often I don’t bother responding to a blog article or making any comments, but in this case I felt the need to say ‘good job’!
