Transformation, Intimacy, Ministry–which movement seemed to be the area you most needed or felt led to address? Which prayer(s) in particular is calling out to you? For you to pray for yourself, for those in your life, for the world? Can you sum up your impressions of our study on prayer?
We’re already praying over and considering our next Bloom Book Club selection, and Jessica and Angie will let you know what it is as soon as they can. In the meantime, we’ll have Recommended Reads published in a few weeks featuring some wonderful authors and their books. Please sign up for exclusive emails for Bloom so you can receive those and news of the next selection.
Thank you for joining in the conversation in comments and on Facebook (have you liked our page yet?). We’re also grateful for the majority of readers who’ve followed along quietly, taking in what you’ve read, seen and heard and allowing the Lord to transform and revolutionize your personal prayer life. To Him be the glory alone.
On a closing note, thank you for your warm welcome to me! I’ve been challenged by Foster’s work, encouraged and delighted by your words, and I look forward to our next Bloom Book Club. If you have any comments or suggestions for the type posts you’d like to see to companion the videos, please drop me a line; I’d love to hear your constructive thoughts (just drop me an email at pensieve(dot)me(at)gmail(dot)com). ~ Robin

I have learned long ago to tell the people in my life that I love them and to make sure they know why. You see each person brings something unique to my life that no one else can bring in that exact way! I believe we should share our thoughts with the people in our lives who are such blessings…..people can not read our minds…..so open up and tell them from the heart just what you LOVE about them! Only then will the blessings go full circle (SMILE)! P.A.A. From Colorado

I’ve learned so much during this book study! I had such a narrow view of prayer before we began. I now have a new perspective, and a new determination to dive deeper where my prayer life is concerned. Over the course of the study, I’ve found myself becoming more intentional with prayer. Where before I might pray for “friends” I now pray for others by name, and include their specific needs or concerns. I feel like my prayers matter… I will refer to this book in the future. I certainly have plenty of highlighted sections and quotes.
I never would have read this book on my own. I think it’s a blessing that I jumped in totally unaware of what I was getting myself into! I don’t regret that decision!

Christina,
I might have begun this book but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have finished it without y’all :). Thank you for sharing specifically how this book challenged and inspired you. Get this–tonight I was praying for a friend while I was at my son’s soccer match. When I “caught” myself doing that I smiled because I’m certain the timing was due to having read this book :).

I only signed on at the end of this study and would love to see all I missed out on, is there a way to view the archives?
Thanks,
Helen

Yes, Helen!
If you click on the Bloom tab at the top of the page (I’ll also cut/pasate it below), you can scroll back through the most current study; eventually, we’ll also archive them on the “Past Bloom Selections” tab when you drop down that menu. You can access ALL Bloom content this way!!

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who made this study possible. I wasn’t able to read every discussion on the book, but the ones I did were so helpful and encouraging. Thanks again and may God bless you!
