  1. Amazing, the ability to turn fruit to poison, dredging up old conflict. Unglued sounds like excellent soul food.

  2. I continue to remember that while I am striving to be who God created me to be, the live the dreams He created for me, that I will stumble and fall. It’s inevitable. But that doesn’t mean I don’t keep trying. Just so long as I keep Him as my focus and guide, I will get there. Imperfect progress as you say….until that day when all is perfect in Heaven. Praise Him for that day!

  3. Because I struggle with some social anxiety, I am a total stuffer…except occasionally when I am at home and a little thing can really set me off…Unglued sounds like a great book.

  4. Oh my, the book, Unglued, sounds like it would be so relevant for my life. I’ve lived many years and, although I’m much better than I once was, I am still challenged terribly by my own emotions which light a fire in me so that I can’t think, only feel, and often wrong reactions are the end result. I know all the right answers but how to get victory I know not except that I know God wants to help me and I need his help.

  5. Sounds like a great book! Years ago I heard Beth Moore give this acronym –

    “In Christ I ….
    C – CAN
    O – Operate
    P – Power packed
    E – Emotionally

    Thanks for the chance!

    • Thanks for that Acronym. Needed it today! 🙂 I am working through what was a messy marriage and even now I find that I am reacting instead of slowing down and choosing a plan. I am always Unglued. This book sounds like it would be such a blessing, Something to point the way to a new way. Thanks for the chance as well!!
May God bless all of you today!!

  6. So excited to read this book. Tired of guilt ridden promises of “I’ll do better.” In a tough season and needed the encouragement that I’m not the only one struggling with my emotions.

  7. This book would be so great right now. We’re in the middle of huge life changes (new job, moving far far away from all our family, selling our house, etc.) and I feel like I’m making decisions simply to make the decision go away, without really considering all that should be considered. This sounds like it would soothe my soul.

  8. I have excerpts from this book and it sounds like an excellent read. I know that I would enjoy it and also pass it along to my friends as well!

  9. I want to be gracious, but so often my reactions are anything else but that. I tend to react first – in other words, I borrow trouble and pay triple interest! Yet, I want my words to be uplifting, encouraging and kind. Looking forward to reading this book! 🙂

  10. Having PTSD, I’m amazed at what unglues me, as much as HOW it unglues me! Sometimes it’s just a matter of writing/talking it through…but I’ve got to learn the TMI rule better.
    God’s teaching me!!

  11. I love Lysa’s writing, and have been so encouraged by her books in the past. I am definitely looking forward to reading this one!

  12. I know that I am not alone in regretting my reactions at the end of the day but most days I feel alone. I am glad for the reinforcement that I am not alone. It is hard to always have the “best” reaction. And sometimes the words that you react with will come back to haunt you. I have this book on my wishlist and can’t wait to read it.

  13. I have been working so hard the last few years to not allow conflict to be all consuming in my days. Praying and trusting God and then letting go of it is not something that comes naturally for me.

  14. As a momma of six, keeping it “all together” is a stretch! I would love a copy of “Unglued!”

  15. I really want to read this book. I come unglued way too often and need some direction on how to handle it.

  16. Just knowing that we’re not alone if we are among those who experience raw emotions and don’t always react with a Godly or kind response is comforting. It’s also reassuring to be reminded that having a bad moment here and there does not make us a bad wife, mom or friend. Thanks for being real!

  17. Oh I so need this book… I am wearing my emotions on my sleeves…. I need to get a handle on this quick… Thanks for the post…

  18. A group of girlfriends and I are actually JUST starting this book as a book club, and 2 are still needing it. Would love to give it to one of them! We meet next week to discuss the first few chapters 😉
    Sarah M

  19. I would love a copy! I can relate to the video – I am both an exploder and a stuffer. Thank you for the opportunity to hear truth on this subject.

  20. Looking forward to reading this book. Lisa, I listen to you on Z88.3 radio in Orlando and I have been watching you on TV with James and Betty Robison. Great advice always.

  21. Unglued sounds like a book I need to read! I have been a church secretary for a few years now and over that period of time becoming “unglued” has been a constant struggle some days!

  22. Would love this book! raw emotions visit our family once in a while …. would appreciate encouragement

  23. We are building our own house, homeschooling, trying to keep a home, thinking about potty training my two year old and maintaining sanity among our four daughters. Conflict is a definite. I’d love a copy.

  24. Thanks, Lysa. This sounds like a wonderful book for so many women – especially those of us that are “perfectionist” wives, mothers and professionals, but in the end are perfect in our unperfectness. I look forward to reading Unglued and sharing it with other women in my life.

  25. I understand what it means to come unglued. There is also this little something that always makes you feel like you have to be right.

  26. This book sounds amazing! I’ve been a stuffer for most of my life until I got married not too long ago and became an exploder towards him, which I dislike just as much. I’m glad to know I’m not going crazy!

  27. This looks like a wonderful book and I can’t wait to read it!! 🙂 Always knowing someone else feels and goes through same struggles is so nice!

  28. Unglued is a great way to put it. This sounds like a fantastic book if it measures up to the reality of the helpless feeling that overwhelms me at times this season. Ooops – have I said too much?

  29. This book sounds amazing! I’ve been a stuffer for most of my life until I got married not too long ago and became explosive towards him, which I dislike just as much. I’m glad to know I’m not going crazy! This sounds like a book I really should read.

  30. I can’t wait to read this wonderful book! Knowing you are not alone with these types of struggles is always a good feeling!

  31. I don’t like conflict of any kind, so I’d guess I’m probably an unhealthy “stuffer” kind of person. Your book sounds like it would offer some real insight as to how to deal with conflict and challenges like that. I think I would enjoy reading it!

  32. Haven’t picked up a copy of Unglued yet, but I seriously can’t get one soon enough!!! Going through a tough time right now and unglued is exactly how I feel! I think this might provide the insight I need to help me better navigate this storm!!!

  33. Wow! Lysa you are talking to me! I had a very big “unglued” moment this past Thanksgiving Weekend. A time when we should be expressing gratitude. I’ve felt so bad and it drags me down. So I am very anxious to read your book! And I have the perfect friend to share it with – we both often talk about moments like this and how we feel about ourselves afterwards. I think you will bring us much needed guidance or at least knowing we are not alone out there. Crossing my fingers! But if I don’t win, I have it on my to read list! Thank you.

  34. Loved the book, it is on my Christmas wish list. Thanks for writing a book that really tells it like it is!

  35. I have read through Unglued once already and gave it to a friend. I am looking forward to reading it again and perhaps with a group (or not) as a bible study! Thanks Lysa, for writing this book…love it!!!

  36. Whoa, I’m definitely a stuffer. I stuff as much as possible until I explode. I must get this book!!!!

  37. Hello, my name is Darlene & I am a “stuffer”!! How did you know, Lisa? ;-). The book title is perfect!! As women, we are always trying to perform a balancing act. Saying yes to things we really want to say no to, then beating ourselves up over it. Realize we have over done it….. over think things, become passive aggressive. Then WHAMMO! Explode over it, usually to the person who is an innocent bystander who least deserves it! (Usually our husbands or our kids). Looking forward to reading this book!!

  38. I have heard excellent reviews of this latest book of Lysa’s-would love to read it and pass it along 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway- I am still “chewing” on Made to Crave {no pun intended:)} Blessings!

  39. I absolutely love the term imperfect progress. It’s refreshing to know that having a bad moment does not make me a bad mom… cuz I confess I have lots of bad moments. I would love to read this book!

  40. oops- I think I deleted my entry..would love to read this highly praised book..I am still finishing “Made to Crave”…did this with the dvd with several gals in my home! Blessings and thanks for the giveaway!!

  41. I have read this book twice…and Love it.
    I have highlighted abundantly.
I have also loaned my copy to a friend.
I would love to win this copy to give to a friend. Thanks!

  42. I’ve just started reading Unglued. I find myself coming unglued with my kids way too often and felt this would probably be a good and needed read for me. I’d love to be able to share one with a friend (should I win 🙂 ).

  43. Third time to try-I cannot get my comment to post….would love to win!! Hope this posts..Blessings to all! 🙂

  44. That verse is a far cry from “sticks and stones…” I need to remember that. I’m pretty sure I need to read this book, too.

  45. Some days I feel like all I get from extended family is conflict…I am praying through, for understanding, patience, and wisdom to know when, and when not to speak…

    Thank you for your insight!

  46. I try my best to be kind to even those that have hurt me. I stand up for those I should have stood up before and am ashamed that I didn’t before.

  47. i learned alot from your statements:
conflict also happens when we feel opposed. Because we want what we want, when we want it, how we want it. When we don’t get it, conflict can happen.
    and
Feeling exposed can occur when someone comes along and threatens to expose our vulnerabilities, our inadequacies, our insecurities. Oh yes, conflict will happen if we feel exposed.

thankyou for those statements, they help reel things in, in listening to and hopefull letting the spirit lead me so i can grow.
    thank you, thank you
    janet

  48. So true how unbelievably powerful words can be for good, or bad. This book sounds so encouraging in offering ways to help us handle our reactions.

  49. The cover picture perfectly express how I feel after I, yet again, “explode” after a period of willfully controlling my emotions.Emotions that I thought I got control over after I give myself a lecture about yielding to the Spirit and having self-control.Who would deliver me from this mess? Thanks be to God for His mercies everyday!
P.S. Would love to have a copy of this!

  50. I would love to read this book! My reactions to overwhelming life situations have not always been in a christian response and this causes me to feel very disappointed. This is so encouraging to know I am not alone!

  51. The cover picture perfectly expresses the way I feel after I,yet again,”explode”,after a period of being able to willfully control my emotions.Emotions that I thought I have control over after I give myself a lecture on self-control and yielding to the Spirit.Who would deliver me from my messy emotions? Thanks be to God for His mercies that are new everyday!

  52. This is the perfect video and blog post to combat the craziness and busyness that we bring into the Christmas season.

  53. My husband remembers everything I say, which can be great, but also not so great for my impulsive self. I have been working hard to “choose” my words thoughtfully before I blurt them out, especially in an argument and to listen more (WAY MORE), also not my specialty. Learning to omit the “always & never, has also been work for me. With our kids mimicking everything we say, it is even more vital to make your words tasty fruit. If you look up Unglued in the dictionary, I bet it has a picture of a mom 😉

  54. I’m currently reading this book. It is truly a refreshing, encouraging, grace-filled read! Love it! Thank you for being authentic, Lysa!

  55. Unglued sounds like me at the end of the day. It also sounds like me in the morning trying to get my boys ready for school. Sometimes I feel unglued because I can’t keep it together. Sometimes I feel unglued because I’m being pushed, pulled, and spun in 5 different directions. I would love to say that I just dig deeper into the Word of God and let him bring peace to me, but usually I let the busy-ness of the day carry me along until it’s time for bed. Then much like you mentioned in the blog, I lay awake thinking and re-thinking about how it could have gone better. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

  56. Lysa… this came at such an amazing time for me as a mom dear. Our youngest daughter is struggling SO hard with a conflict and she is so disappointed in herself and is struggling to figure out the right thing to do and also forgive herself at the same time. HARD stuff for a kiddo! My words haven’t helped and when I saw the quote from proverbs I sat at my desk and cried. I wasn’t thinking about HER when I responded to her and I just blew it. Would love to share your book with her, but if nothing else, I’m sending her this post. What a blessing today! Thank you dear… Shannon

  57. This sounds like me in a nutshell!! I blew up at my boys and husband just last night because I hadn’t gotten my To Do List done yet!! I am also working on finding my voice in relationships where I can feel confident to voice my needs and not “stuff” and to set boundaries!! Thank you Lysa for being honest and open and helping me realize that I’m not the only one out there!!

  58. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for being open and honest and being obedient to our Father. I am so ‘unglued’ at the moment it is scary – don’t know how i am going to put the ‘pieces back together’ but so know SOMEONE who does.
    love in HIM
    xxx

  59. My control issues flare up at the sight of drama, trials, turmoil, etc…. This is a must read for me even if I do not win.. I should get!!

  60. I find myself in the center of chaos and controversy many times in both work and personal situations. Like many previous comments…win or not this needs to be on my reading list.

  61. Some of the ladies in our (in)courage group were talking about this today so I thought I would check it out and I love the topic…so things I have experienced in the past few years. Yay! What a great opportunity to win this!

  62. I’m kicking myself that I didn’t buy this book over the weekend when I had the chance. Would love to win it!

  63. I’m an accountant in this crazy economy at this time of year. I am coming unglued. Hopefully this book will help.

  64. I’d love to win a copy of this book. I keep hearing great things about it. I was so happy for you when I saw it in Mardels sitting with bestsellers from other big time writers.

  65. I absolutely loved this book and would love to give it as a Christmas gift to one of my fellow unglued friends!

  66. Lysa, I can’t wait to read your book. (and I love to win one! 🙂 ).. I sat down at my computer right after coming unglued with my dear hubby this morning and what should appear but your blog post! I have been crying out to the Lord for mercy and grace and a solution for the past few months as I have become a stuffer with all her stuffing falling out (all over my dear family usually). I think the Lord was gently directing me towards your book, He is so Good!

  67. As a frazzled homeschooling mom……I know I need this book! 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity!

  68. I have really enjoyed some of your other books and studies. I look forward to reading Unglued. I have already purchased 2 books for family, maybe they will lend it to me when they are done. Blessings.

  69. I haven’t read this one,but I really could use this book. Made To Crave & Women Walking In Faith are really good!!:)

  70. I am a single mother if four children; two of which are teens. Between work, kiddos, expenses, and life, I often come unglued. I would love to win your book and read about Gods perspective and yours on how to deal with the unexpected things in life.

  71. I am a grandmother of 5, however 2 of them are frequent visitors due to my son’s divorce. The oldest, a girl is not adjusting to her situation well. Her words are sharp and critical. At the end of the day, my emotions are wearing thin and I snap back with equally sharpe words. My prayers constantly are concerning my mine and my mouth. Looking forward to your insight.

  72. If ever anyone needs this book – I do, whether I will one or not I will get a copy. Thanks Lysa for being so honest and vulnerable with us in order to help us grow in Christ!

  73. God has been revealing scripture to me in this area of my life, as I have asked the Him to help me with this, so this blog entry really spoke to me. I am normally a stuffer but feel like I could explode at the seams and I do not like that feeling. I like how you talked about making progress and that God is graceful when we mess up. It is definitely a work in progress and I desire to have a heart like Jesus. I have been wanting this book for some time now, maybe, just maybe I will be one of the lucky five! 🙂

  74. I heard Lysa being interviewed this morning on my local Christian radio station. She talked about the book and it’s made me want to read it even more. I’d love to win a copy!!

  75. Out bible study will be starting this book at the end of January! I can’t wait to read the book!

  76. Nothing in life happens to us; it happens for us. We can’t always choose our circumstances, but we can control our reactions to them.

  77. I would love to have this book in my library and be able to share with my other Sisters in Christ…God Bless

  78. Hi
I picked up the book the other day but have not started reading it. However, it looked and sounds like the book that I need to read. I am usually a stuffer and handling my emotions well is difficult for me. The Lord is helping me with these weaknesses and I hope by his grace, there will be improvement.

  79. Oh, how I needed this today! Between homeschooling, kids’ activities, my husband’s work travel, a death in the family that lead to an out of town funeral, illness and the holidays, my reactions definitely have not been what the should lately!

  80. I would love to win a copy! I really need to read it~~and am so glad you were vulnerable enough to write it! 🙂

  81. Aww Lysa this book sound great!! I really iam asking God to be the winner of this book. It needful very right now. With my marriage and parenting. Ibeen struggling with my marrriage latetly that i go completly emotional roller coaster and i can tell it can really messed up my day. May god bless yo.

  82. I would love this, definitely have been known to come unglued from time to time and also imperfectly struggling to improve this.

  83. Could not believe this tweet!! Just yesterday I blew up at my 22 year old over things she spoke to someone else that I felt revealed our family imperfections. I am now dealing with the guilt of words spoken by me and hurt over words spoken by her.

  84. Love your authenticity… Imperfect progress is a wonderful outlook. I struggle with procrastinating perfectionism… I tend to wait to do something if I can do it very well and completely… That just can’t happen when it comes to “fixing” my emotions and sin nature. Imperfect progress needs to be my new motto!

  85. This morning I was crying over this very issue. I’m torn in so many directions and so overwhelmed yet everyone thinks I have it all together. I’m just waiting for that last little bit to give before everything comes unglued. I’m holding onto God with everything I have but there are so many voices clamoring and I can’t hear him right now. I’m trying my best but sometimes it feels like that just isn’t enough anymore. Because I’m overwhelmed sometimes my responses are not what I want Them to be because I just can’t think it through until later that is and then there is a mountain of guilt. Thank you for writing this book, someday I hope to get it to help me figure all of this out. I’m thankful someone is finally talking about these issues in the Christian community.

  86. I need this book. My oldest daughter (5) is super sensitive to my “exploder” tendencies and notices when I “stuff” my emotions with her too. So glad to know I’m not alone.

  87. Thank you so much for sharing. So good to see ourselves in other peoples struggles and know we are not alone!

  88. Oh how I pray every day that God will give me the correct words to say. I need sensitive words for a husband who has been belitteld so often that he can hardly believe who he truly is in Christ. and my voice is harsh even when it is kind. god transform my mouth to match what my heart wants to be!

  89. is this book perfect timing or what! having to take my mother in (whom i resemble in every scary way) and a hubs who is awesome to present the idea and is taking great care of her as well, mother and i are entering a fierce fire storm with our (spoiled) family. all the while helping Mom to heal from 40 some years of emotional turmoil. this will definitely be purchased!

  90. I would love to win this book! I have been unglued for some time now. I am sure it would help me!

  91. Life often brings things that make us feel unglued. Feel is definitely the key word. So often the world is our standard for how we think we should live our lives and how we should respond to the situation. But God sees things so differently than we humans do and we often feel we’ve failed but we haven’t in His eyes! We’re just living by the wrong standard.

  92. When I became a mama, I learned that there was a whole new level of coming apart that I never imagined. Forget mothering being hard, it’s HARD to remember that you aren’t failing all the time.

“[H]aving a bad moment doesn’t make you a bad mama, wife, daughter, or friend.” Just the words I needed to read today. And possibly write on a huge piece of paper and tape on the ceiling over my bed. 🙂

  93. This book sounds like a Godsend. I struggle with my temper when things don’t go the way I think they should so I would appreciate another “tool” in my toolbox so I can learn to handle these situations in a way that honors God.

  94. I’m reading the book now and WoW!!! I would love to have another copy to pass on!!! It’s highly recommended to all!!!

  95. I have truly come “unglued” this fall season. My job got soo much more stressful than before, but add to that my aging dad got ill. His whole demeanor changed & I couldn’t figure it out.

It started 2 days after his 87th birthday. He was diagnosed with squamous cell carcioma. All I knew was that he had a spot removed from his shoulder. His appetite decreased so that he weighs only 140 & is 5’6″ tall. After getting him in to his PCP quickly it was determined he has depression, upset stomach from cancer medication, using aldara cream. That helped him a little. He still wasn’t eating right. Add to that he couldn’t decide what to do & everyday living was becoming too much for him.
I have dealth with this for about 2 or so months now. It hasn’t been easy–watching your dad go like this. Fortunately I have had the aid of a sister 5 hrs away.

This year marks the 3rd anniversary of the passing of his beloved wife of almost 58 years.

This plus work just made me crazy! I felt like I was on a merry-go-round and I needed it to stop so I could get off. It got so bad that I just lost it one day at work & let a co-worker “have it”. We later made up & I explained myself, but that is not me!

  96. I’d love to have a copy of this book to read and then to give away to other moms who might need it!

  97. I would love this book! I also explode and stuff my feelings. Sounds like this book would be perfect for me. I can’t wait to read it. Thanks!

  98. I have been on the fence with buying this book, but your video really spoke to me tonight… I am super excited for a chance to win. It has been on my to buy list on Amazon since it came out. I really think it’s funny how it keeps showing up here and there… funny how that happens in life when God is trying to get us to notice something, huh? Yeah, I am pretty sure there is something in this book He wants me to discover. He’s pretty amazing like that. Fingers and toes crossed that I might just win! Thank you so much for the opportunity!

  99. I have been reading bits and pieces from your book, “Unglued,” as I read your blog and also the Proverbs 31 Ministry. Any stressful circumstance or even a change in living situations can bring a reaction that will either implode on others or bring glory to the Lord. I can choose to respond in a positive way but I need to rely on the Lord for my words to reflect His life within me. I hope to cull more jewels from your book. Thank you for all you insights and wisdom you have put within the covers of it.

  100. Sometimes i wonder if I ever was glued together in the first place! I am praying the Lord can shine through all of my glorious cracks…hard to contemplate when I am the one that broke me–does that make sense? Thankfully, in God’s grace it does…He still loves

  101. Ahh, I always struggle with this! I beat myself up whenever I react badly (which is fairly often, unfortunately) and I promise over and over that “I will change”, only to fail miserably the next day! I pray for strength to actually change all the “bad” parts of my personality that make me snap at people or get angry for things I shouldn’t or whatever, but it’s really hard… :S

That, among other reasons, is why I’m interested in your book. I can’t afford it right now, but maybe the Lord will make me one of the winners of this giveaway! 🙂

In any case, thanks for sharing your experiences and for being so transparent! <3

  102. I am a mother of 5 beautiful children. I am also a stay at home mom. I’d have to say sometimes I come “unglued.” Something that has helped me that I read a while back was “I’m not a perfect mom but my children are not perfect children either.” I try to read as much as I can to be as perfect a mom as I can be.

  103. I definitly can say I have had my share of “unglued” moments and this book is on my list of books to read.

  104. Hi Lysa,
I checked out your book from the library, but am going to get a copy, as I NEED TO READ IT OVER AND OVER, if you know what I mean. 🙂 Thank you for writing it!

  105. Great reminder in the proverbs verse above to bear words that are ‘life-giving’ to those all around me!

  106. From reading on the blog about Unglued and feeling so much pain with all the sorrow and losses I have suffered this 2012, I wrote on FB about it. Unglued from the pain has become my prayer and I definitively would love to get a copy and work through with ffriiends on my Friday nights small group.

  107. THIS IS DEFINITELY A BOOK THAT WILL BE ON MY TO READ LIST AND I AM SO THRILLED THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS CONTEMPLATED USING “GORILLA’ GLUE AT VARIOUS TIMES DURING MY LIFE!LOL!BETWEEN LOSSES AND EMOTIONAL ROLLER-COASTER RIDES I FEEL AT HOME WITH OTHERS THAT HAVE FELT ABSOLUTELY AT WIT’S END WITH NO WHERE TO TURN!THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO WIN THIS!

  108. What perfect timing! The stress of the holidays can truly make us become “unglued” at times. Striving to be more like Jesus wants me to do.

  109. I’ve jokingly said, “overwhelmed is my middle name!” When I do get overwhelmed or anxious though, I get irritable and impatient with my family. I later look back on the day with regret. I would love to learn from the truths in this book!

  110. My friend could really use this book. She’s had to go through a lot in the past 2 years. Husband lost job, child ran away from home. She crys all the time.

  111. During the holidays it is even easier for us to allow satan to keep us over booked and over tired so we come more ungluedt

  112. Hi,

I love to listen to you on the radio every afternoon when I get off. It is really encourages me when I have a tough day!! Keep up the good work!

  113. Wow! Was surely convicted on the laying awake in bed part. Will definitely have to check out the message contained in this book. Thank you Lysa for sharing 🙂 May God continue to bless you with the desire to share your life and ministry.

  114. Loved Made To Crave. This one is definitely on my reading list. God has given me a season of growth. Unfortunately, it’s nestled in the fertile soil of loss. Praising Him anyway!!

  115. It would be super to win a book – this is our spring choice for our church bookclub! Thanks for the opportunity!

  116. Thanks for the opportunity. Saw an interview you did about this book… Sounds like a good topic for the current stage in my life.

  117. I am honestly almost afraid to read this, knowing how convicted I’ll be, but I think I’ll dive in anyways. Love to win a copy, especially this time of year!

  118. I would so love to win this for my friend, she is preparing for her second deployment to Afghanistan as a medivac medic and this would be a wonderful book for her to take with her!

  119. Conflict! I feel the holidays cause me to be in conflict – but usually with myself. Wanting to do more but not able to. Wanting to have more time but not having it. Wanting to have more peace so I can feel more joy….and on and on. Constant daily conflict for me.

  120. This sounds perfect for me right now. I am a daughter of Christ that has tripped and stumbled over conflict the past several months, some petty, and others fatal. I deeply desire to be chasing after God’s heart again, but I can’t seem to get there with the wall of “reaction” (as you put it) in my way. Anyhow, God bless!

  121. I need to read this book because I have been pretty unglued as of late. I’ve been on the brink of throwing in the towel at the enough bridge.

  122. I am so familiar with that regret about my reactions with others. Most commonly it is with my kids, especially my daughter. I pray that the wisdom God has given you in writing this book will change lives of those who read it. Thank you.

  123. I have been looking at your book as a potential read – I would love to win a copy. Thank you for your heart.

  124. I am reading your book right now as part of my women’s small group. And we are getting so much out of it. I would love to win a copy of the book to give to a friend.

  125. I’m using your blog message as a therapy for me and also on my journaling and FB. For me, my daily routine seems all imperfect and crooked. It doesn’t make sense except that I’m working on knocking down a to-do items at a time. I have not bought the book and I’ll have a hard time to get one soon but I’ll work on it little by little. I’m enjoying it.

  126. This is exactly what I’m trying to work on too! Appreciate your willingness to be open and help us.

  127. I live with chronic pain and have been really struggling emotionally. Chronic pain affects every area of a person’s life. I didn’t realize how much it could cause strain in relationships. Also, I tend to let my feelings and emotions influence much in my life. I want to learn how to handle and manage my raw emotions in a way that is pleasing to God. This book sounds like it could be really helpful! Thank you for doing the giveaway!

  128. I would love to win a copy! I tend to come Unglued a lot lately… I keep telling myself I’m too blessed to be stressed… but a little inspiration from Lysa would go a long way, too! 🙂

  129. Lisa, Thank You for telling it like it is… Your 1st, book has “hit” home several ways. I would love to get your 2nd book to encourage my daughter, myself & my parents – we all have our “button” moments with each other.

  130. I have this on my reading list for the new year. Would love to win a copy. I seem to be forever messing up!

  131. Your book sounds like something I need. I speak without thinking first, interrupt people when they speak. I am as imperfect as they come!

  132. Your book sounds exactly like what I need. So many things I give to God, because I can not change anything. I learned that through the grief process. Must accept eventually and turn issues over to The Lord. He is the only one that promises me I will see a very important little lady someday! Thanks.

  133. I believe this would be a wonderful book to read and apply as I have experienced some of these raw emotions recently due to the death of my only child. I definitely would like to know more about handling these situations in a Christ-like manner that encourages rather than offends.

    Thank you.

  134. Love to read it! I am a widow/mom of 2 teen/preteen daughters. I struggle with being unglued in so many areas of life now. God is going to be sorry he took my husband. I talk to him all the time and He cares about the details girls! : ) Thanks Lysa!
