All month I have been thinking about, talking about and sending cards of encouragement.
It has been beautiful to read through YOUR posts of how cards have impacted you and those you love.
One woman gave a card to co-worker battling cancer.
Many sent cards to their moms and sisters.
Friends were also blessed by cards.
And through the dozens of cards sent and posts written no one has disagreed and said, a card has never impacted me.
Because it’s impossible.
A card is always going to say to the recipient, you are loved. You matter.
So while those listed at the bottom of the post won card packs (congrats ladies), the real winning is for the recipient of the cards you send.
Will you take five minutes today and write a card to someone?
Even if you took my challenge at the beginning of the month and sent a few cards… will you send another one? or two? or three?
It takes diligence to be a regular card sender. But making cards a priority in your life and committing to encourage others will reap great rewards in your life.
And so, this is my prayer – that you and those you love be blessed by the cards you send.
Peace be with you today.
