  1. This scripture hit me like a ton of bricks! Im in a tough decision making time in my life and this is one I need to replay in my mind. 🙂 Thank you!

  2. as a mother of five — i certainly know what “today has enough trouble of its own” means. love that! feel sure God included that part for busy mothers…. we did find great encouragement in these words when we were waiting to adopt our 5th child. i would watch the birds flitting around my yard…knowing, full well, God was more than looking after our daughter still in china…

  3. It’s funny how differently some people will interpret this! For me, I’ve never thought much of clothes. It’s just something I had to do. My mother used to get so angry with me for not caring because her and my sister both love to shop for clothes. I just wear what’s comfortable and as long as it fits and is not too tight, I’m happy. I just turned forty this year and nothing has changed. But, I’m happy. Go figure, right?

  4. Thanks for the reminder from Matthew 6:28-34. My family have moved alot due to my husband’s job. Every 3-4 years, his company will relocate us to a different country. That time is coming soon and I can feel myself feeling stress about the prospect of another move. The verses reminded me that God is in control. He knows where and He will
    provide. Thks 🙂

    • Linda – I was a “military brat” so I can relate to the frequent moves. It’s tough, but I know that God has a plan for you in each location and He will surround you with people to encourage you and make you feel loved at your new home. Transitions are hard, but we serve a BIG God who will never leave you – no matter where you move. 🙂
      Hang in there!
      Rachel

  5. As a current cancer patient, I spend plenty of time worrying – although sometimes I phrase it as “hope” to try to convince myself that it’s not worry. There’s a fine line between the two, and I’m choosing HOPE today.
