  1. I am attempting each day to do something for my house, something for my book and something related to self-care. Not very spiritual-sounding, but my spiritual disciplines are in place and these are three areas of slippage that undermine my availability and service in areas of my calling and gifting.

  2. I am going to act on the callings that I hear God calling me to. I feel God working in my life and am working on preparing myself, my home and my family for his leadings. Too many times in the past I have not heeded to his promptings, this year will be different. It may not make sense to many, but to God and me it makes total sense. And that is all that matters.

  3. I finally took the step and opened my photography blog! Here I will document my journey into becoming a professional photographer πŸ™‚ I hope you visit sometime even though I only have 2 posts so far!
God really challenged me this year into believing His promises and purpose for my life, and through this path I learned that He will move if I move so I’m taking the first step in order for God to keep moving and teaching me about His love, grace, support and faithfulness!!

  4. No blog to link up to! I had considered making that a project this year but it just wore me out thinking about it! More power and much gratefulness to all you bloggers who inspire me on a daily basis. My BIG plan this year – run a half marathon in September. So I am taking the baby steps to get there (hopefully) without injury.

  5. It is to personal to share right now. I would like this year to be the deliverance for me and my children. I am so encouraged to see and hear what God is doing in the lives of so many unique and creative women. I will be living fearlessly…

  6. This year I want to be more bold. I write a lot of encouraging notes to people when they are going through hard things or sometimes just because, but I a lot of times never give them to the person because I am nervous. This year I am going to try to do that less (the not giving, not the writing). I have already become a little better about it: I wrote and sent a card to a friend whose husband was forced to resign, something I would definitely enver have beena ble to do without God’s help. I am trying to remind myself it is okay to not be perfect and to not really know what to say to someone–it really is the thought that counts–but only if you can follow through and give the person the note.

    • Well I failed on that one three times today…kinda frustrating, but I guess change doesn’t happen overnight and tomorrow is a new day.

  7. Kristen, This is Awesome! How wonderful…this is the stuff of eternity. Can’t wait to see how God grows and fills the Mercy House!!

  8. I hope January is a wonderful month for the Mercy House, with the collection drive and the auction. Praying God will bless you richly exceedingly abundantly more than you can imagine!
