  1. Melissa,
I LOVE these ideas! I don’t have a lot of ideas to add, but I do love buying fresh tulips when I can. They brighten any room!
I can’t sew worth a lick, so that scarf idea has me very intrigued!
Also, do you know what type of plant (succulents?) is in the picture? We have a beautiful Lavender Farm here on Maui, and I’m sure I’ve seen them there. I absolutely love them because of the flower-pattern they make.
    Thanks for the inspiration!

  2. I brought in a few tulips from the yard to put in the dining room and am going to add a plant or two to the kitchen here soon!

  3. Here in MN – it’s much needed to think light and put springy things around. I love the scarf idea! hadn’t thought of that … and I’m going this week to get succulents – just beautiful!

  4. Fabulous ideas! I like to use table runners on top of certain pieces of furniture and I change them out with lighter pieces in the Spring. Although, now that our youngest is walking, the table runners will be tucked away for a while!
Those succulents are lovely…might have to see about putting a small pot of those in my kitchen.

  5. Loved all the ideas – and they look easy too! The pillow cover with the bird & bird’s nest on it is beautiful!
