  1. What a wonderful story to start my day – I love the simplicity of this tid bit and that you caught it and met God’s plan for your day. May you be blessed with many more “tea dates” with your mom! 🙂

  2. Emily…
You are blessed with a beautiful Mum… and will be a beautiful Mum… whispering with Mary, the Mother of Jesus:
“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it be to me as you have said.” (Lk 1:38)
    All my love, sweet friend…
    Ann

  3. Lovely post. It’s all about the time spent loving, isn’t it? Your bio says your baby was due in Nov…hopefully here by now. Both of mine were due in Nov and both were born in December. I had a lot of practice with waiting!

  4. such encouraging words… thank you, ladies. just so you know, my son, Aiden Grey, was born Nov. 12th… he’s the light of my life. well worth the wait. now, to continue loving … peace to you.

  5. What a beautiful picture Emily – you and your dear Mom. I think it wonderful that you have eyes to see the special moments the Father orchestrates, waiting for our obedience. Perhaps these moments are the “big things” we all seem to want to do for Him.
So lovingly and beautifully written Emily.

  6. This was a beautiful picture of abiding with the Lord while living in the midst of the everyday. Listening, then responding to His voice. Simply lovely.
