  1. Memories we are making now with our 6-year old son… My husband and I came to know the Lord during my pregnancy. Christmas went from a secular celebration to a joyous, wondrous recognition of God’s most divine gift!
Lasagna dinner Christmas eve with candlelight and sparkling cider; stockings Christmas morning in remembers of St. Nicholas; a month-long Jesse Tree reading (Ann Voskamp’s creation); hot cider with mulling spices, a crock pot full of apples & honey & spice; and hearts filled over with His precious love!
    Merry Christmas!

  2. Oh, Dawn…
Christmas Eve my Mama, sister and I shared memories of Christmas past with my Grandma… laughed… cried… said how much we missed her…
We carry them on with us forever… love really never ends.
Thank you for taking me down your memoried lanes. You bless, sweet friend…
    Merry Christmas, Dawn!
    All’s grace,
    Ann

  3. Love the cherries story. I talked with my husband this year about us making some purposeful traditions of our own since we are travelers and always have been – making the rounds to four sets of grandparents’ homes over the holidays. It is hard to get your own traditions in when you are constantly packing and moving. I feel that it is very important, though. 🙂
