Although I see so many blessings in my life, some days I just want to wrap a feather comforter around me and hide away.
Anything from a difficult diagnosis to a bad hair day can make me feel overwhelmed. And it seems to hit out of nowhere.
I remember when David was born (my oldest son was born with only two fingers on his left hand, as well as other challenges) going to the grocery store with him took all the courage I could muster. I didn’t want to face people’s stares or wonder what they were thinking.
On the tough days, love is a big part of what helps give me the energy to get out of bed. We can find courage by journeying together. Sometimes talking and being gently reminded about truth can be encouraging. Or we can simply cry together, no reminders.

Love gives you the right to be in a bad mood if you’re having a bad hair day. Or facing something bigger.
What are you facing today that requires courage?
