  1. I love that passage too & have always seen God’s compassion & valuing women in it. Thank you for highlighting the power of asking questions! I’m in a position of continuing or not a ministry that may have served it’s course. I’ve been asking God what’s next but in 10 days I will be asking the leadership of our church to consider God’s leading as well. I tend toward having a game plan in place to move forward but asking questions to humbly seek God’s game plan is a much better approach. Your post was perfectly time for at least me! Thank you! Blessings (((0)))

    • Hi Ruth! I’m so glad this devotional met you where you are today! Thank you for sharing about your situation. I’m praying for you as you go to the leadership of the church and you ask those questions God has laid on your heart!

    • Ruth,

Jesus-be with Ruth as she approaches the leadership of her church. Give her the questions to ask plus some peace & comfort. Make your plans for this ministry known to Ruth. Amen!

      Blessings 🙂

  2. What Questions Do I Need To Ask?

Five Sisters made History in the article read today. They were brave and determined that their father should be remembered even if he did not have sons to carry on his name. His five daughters could carry on his legacy by owning his land in their father’s name. This was “new” during that time because only sons carried on their father’s name by owning their father’s land at the appropriate time (death of the father and marriage/coming of age). These five sisters made Biblical History.

Moses asked God about the five sisters’ question and God agreed with the five sisters. They should get their father’s land. Hallelujah !

Now, what questions do I need to ask myself about my own life?

What are my goals for the remainder of 2023?

What do I like about myself?

Have I taught my children Life Lessons?

What do I need emotionally to thrive at the age of 64?

    Do I like my personality?

What areas need to be strengthened in my life?

Who Does God Say I Am?

How can I be more thankful to God?

These are questions I can pray about and wait on the best answers from my Creator.

    Until Later,

    Brenda
    Your Sister in Christ

  3. Dorina,

It is so easy to get upset over situations. Sometimes there can be a simple misunderstanding. Yeah for teaching your children to ask thoughtful questions. We need to be more like Jesus & the Zelophehad women asking questions to foster understanding & build relationships.

    Blessings 🙂

  4. Wow, such a thought provoking post! Asking questions is a powerful thing, instead of speaking as if I know all the answers. The only thing I know, is what I think…..which is not necessarily correct or even true. Thank you for sharing your provoking thoughts and scripture to back it up. You have given me alot to chew on.
