  1. Looking forward to this study. And this familiar passage is a great way to start the new year. Thanks and happy new year!

    • Along with Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.” This one also came up in my reading this morning.

  2. From December I felt drawn to this verse in Psalm 90 as my verse for this year 2023.
“Teach me to number my days aright so I may gain a heart of wisdom:”
So as I saw the title of this article I felt it was for me.
Thank you for sharing your story .

  3. Thank you Grace. Thank you for sharing. I can relate so much! I pray for wisdom every moment of every day. I admit when “my wisdom” makes sense and seems so responsible yet God places His wisdom right into my hands and I’m like really? Are you sure? I’m learning my obedience in following God is wisdom. Seems like it took forever…I’m a grandma for heavens sake!

“I want to experience the joy of obedience as I learn to become wise. Meet me where I am, God, and take me where You want me to be. Amen.” I love this prayer. I’ve got a sticky and I’m putting it everywhere….lol

Have a wonderful blessed day sisters \0/

  4. Grace,

Thanks for sharing your story. Jesus says it best in Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. We have to trust God with all our hearts for He alone knows the future He planned out for us.

Praying everyone can trust God enough to follow His leading. It is the best thing you can do!

    Blessings 🙂
