  1. My daughter’s father was abusive. While I have been out of the relationship for years, I’m still dealing with some PTSD and fear that he will harm our daughter. Please pray for my peace and God’s protection.

    • I very recently left an abusive relationship… and while I’m thankful to be out, my life has been in such shambles since I left that I wonder daily if I should have just stayed and endured the abuse. I have nightmares and am generally afraid to go into town for fear that I may run into him.. I feel even more like a shell of myself than I did when I was still with him & in the midst of the chaos of the situation… and it’s soooo soul-snatching…. but God (there is always a “but God” isn’t there?).
I am reminded of Luke 1:45 that says “Blessed is she who believes that the Lord will fulfill His promises to her.” I am reminded that He promised never to leave or forsake us, to be with us in the valley, that vengeance will be His… and so, though He slay me, yet shall I trust. I will trust that no matter what happens in this season… no matter how bruised or broken I am -or have become.. His power is made perfect in my weakness… and He will not forget what has been done to his daughter! And just as I am convinced that He will not forget me, I am confident that He will not forget you!! God will take care of us.. we need only to be still!
Peace & Blessings to you, dear.

      • Kennie,

Elizabeth, I have PTSD also. I heard the gun shot when my husband took his life. That was 4 years ago. Loud startling noises still effect me. I hope and pray you can find peace.

  9. Please pray for me I am a caregiver for my mother who has dementia and Parkinson’s and I am so stressed and overwhelmed having to take care of everything and not having a break to have my own life has affected me physically, emotionally and mentally. I love my mother but need to get away to relax for once it’s been several months since I have done anything for myself miss being with friends and being social since I live so far away.

    • Elaine,

Caring for elderly with dementia is super hard. I did it for 10 years. Have you thought about hospice care? It isn’t just for the dying. We first learned about it when mom was ill & dad was caretaker. They have various people that come to assist you. One person may come & give her a bath & wash hair. An RN may come & check her over-that way you don’t have to go to the doctor’s office. It would give you some time for yourself. There are also other type of caregiver respite relief. I would check with a local nursing home to get some information. Praying for you.

Abba Father please be with Elaine. She is getting stressed out mentally, physically & emotionally. It is so hard being the caregiver for someone you love-especially one with dementia. Asking you to guide her steps. Give her the discernment to know if hospice or some other form of respite care would be of help to her. Give her the rest she desperately needs. In Jesus Name AMEN!

      Blessings 🙂

I desperately need prayer for my daughter, she is a self-harmer. She spent time in a psychiatric hospital due to her problem. I desired for her to stay closer to home for college, but she decided to go 13 hours away. She was doing really well up until Tuesday, when she made the painful decision to start cutting her self again. The RA in her dorm room called the police who took her to the hospital. We are struggling, she doesn’t want to leave school, but I don’t feel right with her being so far away.

    • Angela, I have an 18 year old who self harms as well. We fostered and adopted her several years ago, but she still struggles with the trauma she experienced as a young child. She had stopped cutting for a while and has recently started again. I feel so helpless. I am praying for you and your daughter today, and will continue to pray for both of you. I don’t think it was a coincidence that your comment was the one I came to this morning.

“When my heart is overwhelm, lead me to the Rock that is higher.” Psalm 61:2

  18. Lord, thank you that you allowed Sandra’s friend to survive each one of the heart attacks. Please heal the pneumonia and any other health crisis. Be with Sandra as she prays and cares for her friend. Thank you Lord for complete healing. In Jesus name, Amen!

Again, I need God’s guidance on this.
    Thank you.

In Jesus’ Name, amen ❤️❤️

    • Angela and all — It came to me that my focus needs to first be on living in God’s will for God’s glory–even while we feel almost desperate for physical healing. My husband is a semi-invalid since a stroke last year, with no relief from head pain, vertigo, etc., etc. Whether he is miraculously healed today, gets worse, or whatever, I believe that life isn’t about us being well or ill, happy or sad. Do I feel perfectly content? Not yet. But I aim to thank God for His power, wisdom and peace to live in a way that honors Him. God WILL honor our dedication to Him. The main thing is always for us to glorify Him–with our thots, feelings, words and actions, with praise, thanksgiving, witnessing–despite what we go through on this earth. “The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us (Romans 8:18). I will bless the Lord at all times (Psalm 34:1). My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).”

  28. I’m reading Psalm 40 and praying for my son to be healed from intense, constant head pain he’s had for 18 months. Seen numerous drs tried various treatments and medicine. God is our only hope. Please pray with us. He’s a college senior. His name is Nate. ♥️

  32. I have been without a vehicle since August 2021 when a doctor told me I was going to die by the end of the year. But God had other plans and I’m still here, healed and healthy. I have met some amazing friends who have become family since then who have stepped up to take me where I need to go, and since I work from home, that has been enough. But I want to go further than just our county, especially with the holidays around the corner. I have been praying that God would bless me with a vehicle in His time, and as He sees fit. I’m asking for prayers in agreement with me, and claiming victory. Praying for all who have posted before me this morning.

    • Dear Father thank You for restoration of Cindi’s health and for the wonderful ways You provide in her life. May she continue to be Your light to those around her and use her in profound and beautiful ways for Your Kingdom. I want to agree with her and ask You that You will provide her with a vehicle in Your good timing. May it be a wonderful testimony in her life, thank You that You delight in all the details of our lives. Amen

Ps: It may encourage you, God also coincidentally provided me with a vehicle out of nowhere this year and will have faith and trust with You that God truly will provide when it is His time. As a caveat, I am not someone who believes in the prosperity Gospel but I do believe that God does give good gifts and loves surprising His children.

I am having a very difficult time right now trying to find nurses. I am in my 60’s and my husband is in his 70’s. Our night nurse has run into a lot of medical issues and will not longer be able to work. Then one of the day nurses (young) decided to leave to take a better paying job. Our hands are tied with what we can pay because our daughter only has Medicaid. This now puts me working days and nights. I simply can’t sustain this schedule. We have no family here. I ask for strength and nurses.

  40. I pray for Cathy that you will feel God’s peace that passes all understanding, rest in Him for He knows you and what you need. I pray for Terry as she struggles with family issues. Lord show her how much you love her and that You are in control. Shower all these ladies with Your tender touch and shower them with Your Love and Peace. 43. Thank you for praying for my husband, Chris. He has constant vertigo, near constant head pain, fatigue, memory damage, tinnitus, other post-stroke issues and the health challenges he had before the stroke. There has been no relief from drugs or physical therapy. He’s struggling, yet his mind is closed to psychological and non-traditional (cold laser, acupuncture) therapies. His life is seriously limited, but thankfully he does still count his blessings.

Would appreciate prayers for mental, physical, and spiritual health for myself and my family; that we’d see clearly, that things that look overwhelming right now would become manageable, that we would find healing, and that we would love well.

    • Holy Father thank you for being the Provider, Protector and Redeemer for KC & her family. I pray for healing in all ways – physical, mental and spiritual well being. Please breathe peace in their minds and home. Thank you Lord for answering our prayers. Amen

    • He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him. (Psalm 91:2)
I have been there and God was faithful. My son was thousands of miles away from home in a different country in college and was depressed. We didn’t know but suspected all was not well. I prayed and God was faithful. Our son moved from depression and failure to being a high achiever in pursuing his higher education, was recognized for special talents and is now a professional. God will do the same for your son. I will say a prayer for him and the other members of the family.

  49. Please pray for a friend who needs courage and willingness to reject a spirit of fear and anger and receive healing and live from our God. Please pray for all the intentions entrusted to me, including those above, and for the new path the Lord has placed before me, that all the right doors will open. Thank you and God bless you all!

    • Dear Kelly… praying that not only the ‘right doors’ would open but also feel moved to pray that you would recognize that they are the right ones, even if they are a bit unexpected, or not exactly as you had pictured. With care.

  50. I need prayer for my health, both physical and mental/emotional. I am 72 and though I do ok, my 34 yr old son and girlfriend have moved in with me (at my OK) and it is challenging to say the least. I am trying to get my house and my life organized… it is a work in progress for sure. I want to lean more on God, want to learn how to pray deeper, more. Thank you to anyone who reads this.

  51. Ps 96:6 Splendor & majesty are before Him; strength & glory are in His sanctuary.

Dearest Father be Kelly’s personal tour guide through life on this earth. Guide her steps that she reflect Your majesty even in the mundane tasks of day to day. Thank You that You have given us Your Word to light our path through the darkness. Go before her that only the doors You have designated for her will open. Keep her from discouragement if there are doors she thinks should be open that are not. Thank You that Your ways are always best! Thank You that she loves You & is seeking You. May she deeply crave time in Your Word & her faith roots grow deep & fat. In Your all powerful & redeeming name Jesus. Amen.

Please pray I can focus productively on each task set before me in all my rolls as wife, employee, Titus 2 Mom, 3rd grade Sunday school teacher, & friend.
Blessings to each of my heavenly siblings! (((0)))

  52. The needs are so great but know that God is faithful! Joshua 1:9 have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithsoever thou goest. Praying for all of the ladies and their precious families.

Please pray for my broken heart. Clinging to God’s promises.

    • Holy Father you promise us that you are close to the broken-hearted. Please help Cynthia to feel your nearness and love in a tangible way today. Thank you Lord Amen

  53. Proverbs 3:4-6 Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.

We could really use prayer for my health – chronic stomach issues, bruising and pain. And prayer for both of our jobs – they’re both negative, degrading environments. We’re still new to this area and need prayers for church and community. Thank you.

    • Dear God, you hear Rebecca’s needs. You see her, you know her physical pain, and the crushing disappointment of being in job environment that is negative. Lord, we ask and pray in your mighty name for a relief from her pain, that your hand of healing might be at work in mysterious ways. Lead her to the right people who can help her find relief, Lord! We also pray that you would lead them to a great place to find community and people that love you and will welcome them. And for meaningful work in a more positive environment! In the meantime, please sustain them and keep them focussed on You in all circumstances. Amen!

  54. I would appreciate prayers for my kids. We have to shift to online learning again next week due to a strike. Although my daughter is thrilled, the boys really struggle with learning online. I fear especially for my oldest who is in his last year of high school. I’m afraid that he will really fall behind and not be able to focus on his schoolwork. I would also appreciate prayer for him for a medical condition that has not resolved (yet) and for God to help/encourage my son do what he needs to do in order to find freedom. Many thanks, sisters!!

  55. Jeremiah 29:11

Please pray for my mom and I.., our relationship is strained right now.., I am trying to heal it .., but my mom is still holding onto my past mistakes.., still holding a bit of a grudge. Pray that our relationship is healed according to Ephesians 3:20.

Lord, thank you for giving your only begotten son, so that I may have a right to the tree of life. Thank you for your grace and mercy. Lord I want to be more like you. Help me to let the Holy Spirit that you have placed in me lead and abide in me. Help me to manifest your purpose for my life. I love you Lord. 58. Going through a rough patch. Have a dermatologist appointment – second one. Have a growth on my ear that doesn’t respond to normal treatment.

  60. I’ve love prayer for wisdom, clarity and direction for my fiancé and I. We are seeking God for where to start out our marriage and this will include a move for myself and a job change. Pray for the provision of a place to live and a job when the time comes. Also, as we look to our future and prepare for these changes, we also have our wedding to plan. I don’t want the stress of planning for a relocation etc. to minimize the joy of planning our wedding, but I also don’t want to get overwhelmed by planning for two major things. Also, pray for joy in this season of ministry. I feel weighed down and burnt out, but I desire to finish well before I move onto the next chapter of my life.

    • When it came to planning our wedding our minister stressed we were planning a worship service. That was a great reminder when the decisions were coming fast & furious. It also was a great comfort on our actual wedding day. I awoke feeling the nerves of being in front of people ( not in my comfort zone!) but the reminder we’d planned a worship service & I was marrying by best friend made the nerves smooth out & I even rolled over & slept soundly til the alarm went off. Praying you will have eyes to see the Lord in all the details. May you also finish well each task set before you that He will be magnified & others will praise Him because of your example. May you revel in the lessons of God’s goodness & unity He teaches through marriage for many many years to come! In His great name I pray! Amen!

  61. One thing my husband and I have started doing is to memorise verses which mean a lot to us. On each car journey we go through the ones we’ve learnt and learn a little part of a new one. 2 Corinthians 9:8 TPT version is one ….Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm me with every form of grace, so that I will have more than enough of everything- every moment and in every way. He will make me overflow with abundance in every good thing I do.
Father, I bring all these dear people to you, whom you love deeply and completely. I ask that you bring healing, peace and freedom into every situation. You know each individual completely and know best how to turn these situations around for good. I ask that, today, these people will see a real change in their situations, in Jesus’ name I ask this. Thank you Father.

  62. Psalm 138:7Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
    you preserve my life;
you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies,
and your right hand delivers me.
    8 The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands.
Above verse was shared by my pastor(ESBC) when I was leaving to India from US. This verse always comes to my mind whenever I’m fearful about my future.
