  1. I appreciate the simple steps you share. Anxiety is a big issue with me also so this was particularly helpful. I have found prayer helps…sometimes. But I still struggle.

  2. Taylor, this is so good. I never thought about how we rush past that question, not giving our spirit time to acknowledge and validate our feelings and what is causing our anxiety. We just want it to go away. You’ve given us a good pattern for acknowledging, validating and giving it to God, trusting Him. Thank you.

    • Hi Gail! Yes! I’ve wanted my anxiety just “go away” for a long time. For me, stopping and acknowledging it can feel so counterintuitive, but I’m learning that (like you said) when we stop, acknowledge it, validate it, give it to God, and practice trusting him IN it – we can actually move faster THROUGH it. Thank you for sharing!

  3. I love this statement “When we’re anxious, we don’t need a solution. We need connection with God, and with others. While I’m commanding my anxiety left, right, up one side, and down the other, Jesus isn’t. He leans in, listens, and invites me to join him there. He invites me to listen to my anxiety, together. “.
I love how this shows our need for God and how we do not need to pull back from Him when we feel anxiety in shame but lean into Him with full acceptance.
    Thanks Taylor!

  4. Taylor,

It’s time we quit saying “I’m fine” when we aren’t. Everyone experiences some form of anxiousness at various times in their lives. Your tips are excellent ways to get through those times. I’m going to try slow breath prayers. You breath in & say God then breath out & say help me. It seems to calm me down & helps me focus. Thanks for your tips & ideas.

    Blessings 🙂
